This sucks. I asked waaaaay back when the preorder bonuses were announced if the AT-12 shotgun was PC-exclusive, but never got an answer.

That stupid shotgun was the only reason I ordered from EA. Lame.



EDIT: This is hilarious. EA Chat was able to add the shotgun to my account...for PC use! Even though I told the agent I am on the 360.

I called him on it, then he pretended that I disconnected so he ended the chat.

I remember debating whether to pre-order my copy with Origin or with Gamestop.

At that time I checked out the pre-order for the Xbox version on Origin and I am damned near certain that it said that the shotgun was included.

PS: Glad I decided to pre-order with Gamestop.

I've been through the whole "pre-ordered from origin, never got my code, got a very confused customer service rep" situation, too. I didn't even get the Argus e-mail. I had to wring that out of the service rep. And I didn't get the Collector's Assault Rifle code since I pre-ordered the artbook through B&N. What is going on here?

I got the code for the artbook on the 5th, it didn't work on site but it does in game. Also the AR 55 on the 5th...but the at 12 shotgun never came...seems its pc only for now. Also beware of those sites asking for money and the give you a xbox360 code generator for the at 12....fake of course. Anyways hopefully they will compensate us 360 owners that didn't get the shotgun.

Hey, I wanted to add to this. I have the same problem. I wanted the pre-order shotgun so I specifically ordered from Origin, but because Origin is a digital distribution platform for PC, I went so far as calling EA customer service in advance of buying my copy of ME3 and asking for clarification on the availability of the AT-12 Raider Shotgun for Xbox 360. I was told by the EA rep, and I paraphrase "I asked my boss and he said the shotgun is definitely included and he knows because he intends to buy his copy of ME3 from Origin too."

It then took 3 different calls to EA customer service before anyone could figure out which pre-order item I was talking about. The last person I spoke to said "The Shotgun is a PC only item and we don't have a code to generate."

The problem is, this was never advertised or clarified on the Origin website as a PC exclusive item, and EA customer service specifically assured me this item was included.

Frankly, I doubt Bioware or EA are going to do anything about this, but when I asked how I could be compensated for advertised content that supposedly doesn't exist, EA customer service offered to email me a 15% coupon for Origin. I declined the coupon, I just want the content I paid for.

Cmon Bioware, don't have so many promotional items that you can't even advertise or distribute them properly.

Either those agent didn't know what they're doing, or they just simply wanted to move on to the other cases. Same with me getting a PC code even though I'd mentioned my pre-order was XBOX 360. Do feel like being ripped of as it was not shown as PC only on the promotion video ( M55 and AT 12 ).

Jarrett told me he's checking into it with Origin.  I get the impression that it was supposed to be for consoles.  Might have been some communication break down.  Hopefully we hear something soon.

Nice that you got a response. Chris Priestly simply ignored me and this issue all together eventhough he contributed to the confusion with his Mass Effect 3 Pre-order Bonus thread in which he made no mention of its PC exclusivity.

is all I need to know that this is false advertising and I'm not happy. I'd have gladly paid a department store and picked it up at midnight release instead.

*(it was scheduled for 2-day shipping originally and wasn't sent out until the day before... when I finally got shipping info, the shipping speed had been increased...)

I'm in the boat, they made me wait a week for this damn game and then i don't even get ANY preorder dlc. no shotgun! no rifle! what a joke. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

something new. according to the Origin/EA agent - First redeem the ONLINE PASS, and the AT12 will be available in game after " the Prologue " from a " weapon bench ", when Shepard is sent to the Alliance base in Mars. I have not started the game yet, so can't verify.
Could anyone who has redeemed the ONLINE PASS and completed the PROLOGUE please verify? Although I am still a little concerned, but at least this is something different from what I've got from other agents there. fingers crossed!!!!!

I have used my online pass from my CE, so I would not have it based on that code.  That method implies the Online Passes are different than in any other copy of the game.  That is highly suspect.  :huh:
