Now whenever I replay ME1 I am going to laugh when I see Udina. And I'll laugh harder when I see him in ME2. if only in ME1 they had interrupts, and one of them was to punch him in the gut.

Without hesitation. First renegade interrupt my Paragon shep has done without second thought.

Pretty much same.

At first I hesitated because I've conditioned myself not to do them, but then I realized what he was about to do, and hit it. And I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Ditto; my Shep is an agent of the Council; and it's his duty to protect the council from all threats.  I now see why they made Udina the default Councilor, regardless of choice.  It was my first ever Renegade moment of the series and I'd do it again as a Paragon.  It's a no brainer for my Shep; the Council comes first.

So...the Kai Leng one was good?  Good....I'll be sure to do that one then for some payback for Thane....

Oooh... The Kai Leng Interrupt is SOOOOOOOO satisfying. Enjoy it. XD

That and shooting Udina are the best ones imo.

I didn't, mainly because I thought Udina's motivations weren't adequately explained.  His betrayal made no sense whatsoever, and came across as ludicrously stupid, even for him.  I wanted the cutscene to go on, to hear Udina's reasons and defense.  Hell, I was still wondering if he really was the mole, since the salarian councilor was acting pretty suspicious as well.  I actually thought the salarian councilor had been indoctrinated and betrayed the Council, then when he was caught, tried to frame Udina.

Not to say I was fond of Udina.  I wasn't.  He was an ass in ME1, but mellowed in the sequels, especially if you didn't make him Councilor at the end of ME1.  I don't think I would have gotten the same disturbing degree of pleasure from killing him as everyone else seems to, in any case, even if I had taken the interrupt.

I kinda grew to like the cranky old man as well.  In the end, I'm just going to say he got scared.  Udina never did have a back-bone outside of politics and probably thought this was the only way to preserve humanity.  (He always was the classic "Humanity first, always" Renegade)

Of course.  He was WAY out of line and had to be put down like the dog he was.

You bet I shot him. I almost never take Renegade interrupts but this was an exception. Like other posters, I did it instinctively. No regrets whatsoever. He deserved it.

Actually I used the interrupt more to save Ashley then to get rid of Udina. I was afraid something bad was going to happen to Ash in that situation (like Ash hesitating and Udina shooting her). However I may have missed the explanation why Anderson is back to the military in ME3 and Udina counselor. What is it?

One of two no-hesitation interrupts for my Paragon Shep. The other one was punching the Admiral who fired on a ship that had Tali on it. Get off my plane!

I take that option. Even on my straight Paragon Shep.

Wanted to make good on that "Nobody stabs me in the back!" comment from ME1. Felt good man

I'm playing a pure paragon Shep, but when I saw Udina point the gun at the Asari councillor, I instinctively used the renegade interupt, I felt he really forced my hand, and had to be stopped no matter what.

I felt a bit weird about it in the aftermath though, it suprised me

One does not need any Renegade points to do this? (or the Kai Leng one?)

My most favourite Renegade interrupt was actually in ME 2.  Head-butting Uvenk, and the Shaman's reaction.

I think this may well become the best for ME 3.

I renegaded his *** without hesitation, it was like the instant I heard the interupt sound I hit the mouse button.

Possibly the single most satisfing moment in my long history of gaming.

hell yes, ROFL, like many others here, without a seconds pause. That red symbol popped in the bottom right and I pulled that trigger like I was in a quick draw competition.

Plus, there's no way I was waiting around to see if Kaidan had finally decided he trusted me or not. No way would I have let Udina off that councilor...

Not before I could, anyway, LOL!

My character is mainly paragon, but I was pretty much hitting every interrupt, no matter the alignment attached to it and making renegade choices when I preferred the option. Thus, while I've always liked Udina (I always pick him for the Council, though on this Shepard, I did not), I hit the button and popped him. I didn't think I'd hesitate on him, even though I do like him, but I thought I'd hesitate or flat out refuse to shoot TIM. Turns out I like Anderson a lot more than I thought I did...

And KL I did his interrupt. Loved it, too. My bar is mostly paragon, but has a nice chunk of renegade to give it flavor because of my picking whatever options I liked in the game. :-p

On my 2nd Play through the button didn't even fully flashed yet and I shot him. And on my FemShep, who is/will be my fully Paragon Shep I will kill him again. Too bad Anderson didn't know him out for good in ME1 after Udina grounded us and all.

My only regret in renegade'ing Udina is that I shot him when I really would have prefered to biotically Slam him up and down on the balcony a few times instead.

Still, it was a nice warm fuzzy feeling to be rid of him at last.

And Kai Leng's renegade interrupt..., He so had that coming to him.

Anderson quit because he hated all the beurocratic crap.

Hated Udina from the start of the Mass Effect series. You bet I fired my gun.
