Been wanting to do that since ME1. Ok, perhaps not shoot him, but ever since he BSed me in ME1 and grounded my ship, i felt like kicking him in the nuts.

That i got to shoot him in the face, and save the council in the process made the entire thing even better.

I've got one Shep, and he's almost purely Paragon. But when I saw him aiming I flipped in a split-second reaction and shot him. What happens if you don't shoot him?

Yep. One of the few Renegade options I took in my first playthrough (that, and punching the Admiral, that's all so far). No regrets about that. And I was fully supporting Udina up until that point, despite his ass-ish tendencies.

Me, too.  Punched that Admiral and threw his arse off the ship.  Best moment of the game so far.

Note:  I didn't support Udina until ME 3.

EDIT:  Kaidan/Ashley shoots him if Shepard doesn't.

Yeah. He was going to kill the council. I'm a pure paragon but I did not hesitate for a second.

This.

Pure paragon + Renegade interrupts = Best way to play Shepard (or at least FemShep ^^)

I didn't want to do it since I was playing paragon. But I just can't resist pressing the trigger button when an interrupt comes out even if it's a renegade one. My fingers do it by themselves ;p But I sure did enjoy killing him =)

I was really starting to wonder what the real deal was behind the whole Udina maybe probably orchestrating the whole thing from the beginning, I had my doubt, but as soon as I saw him pull the gun on the Asari Consular, I panicked and shot him in the face as fast as my hand could reach the Right Trigger.

Me too! I was a bit shocked when I actually ended up shooting him. I was a mostly paragon, but I still have no regrets.

I went into Mass Effect 3 Paragade (at last! I hated being forced one or the other in ME2.) so I didn't hesitate for a second. Kind of felt like it was built up since the first game, plus I didn't give him that council seat in the first place.:police:

Nah, I let Ash gun him down. Only renegade interrupts I used entire game were shooting Illusive Man and gutting that damn sword wielding maniac for killing Thane.

I liked Udina, but still shot him, I merely neutralized the threat.
Still felt like fan service to me though, people hated him and wanted to do that for ages, and BioWare allowed them by making him a part of the new EBIL CERBRUS DUR. Sigh.

Cerberus being evil isn't new. They've always been that way. Not retconned, either. People just got all impressed with King Narcissist Illusive Man's shpiel and believed he was in it for anything but power.

Also, the only renegade interrupts I did on my first play through were:

* Shot Udina
* Punched Admiral Han'Garrel
* Punched Kai Leng's katana and then stabbed him with my omni blade.

I let Kaidan take the shot. I figured it was a good character building moment for him. Let him see what it's like to be in Shep's position and have to make the tough calls.

Yes! But I did it absolutely impulsively and instantly. I panicked because the situation was escalating and Ashley yelled "Gun!", but I'm glad I did so. Always hated that bastard.

I was at the edge of my chair on that scene, here´s how it went:

Me: oh crap its a stand off against Ashley....*continues to watch*
Ashley: Gun!
*Renegade Action*
Shepard shoots Udina
Me: *stands up* YES! I´VE BEEN WAITING 5 YEARS FOR THIS!!!

........Worth it and I´ll do everytime I play this part in the future.

Actually, there are only two renegade moments in the entire game that I did or think I would enjoy.

This is one of them.
The other is during your last run-in with Kai Leng - and this also made me smile.

As a paragon, those were the only two renegade interrupts I took, and they were both worth it.

Oh god yes. I have waited for 3 games to have a chance to kill him and i was not missing that chance. My main femshep is paragon but has a strong sense of justice too so it wasn't too out of character to take that decision since he deserved it XD

Ashley/Kaidan does it

I was beginning to like Udina, thought the war was bringing out the best in him till I though he was a traitor.

Shot him without hesitation, glad to see he would have died either way! ^_^

Wanted to put a round in his arse since I first met him in ME 1.
Wanted to kneecap the b***h when he interrupted my convo with Anderson in ME 2.
Didn't hesitate in ME 3 (he barely got a word out of his mouth... Never seen a renegade interrupt executed so quickly, and I play Paragon :P).

Pegged him as scum from the very beginning.

Then sent Ash to fight in the trenches... Where she belongs.

I'm on my second playthrough and I plan on letting Ashley shoot him this time.

Udina and Kai Leng were my only renegade decisions on my first playthrough.
