Does anyone ACTUALLY HONEST TO GOD GENUINELY like the endings? Not just being contrary?

Well, to 'like' something is a very broad term.

I 'like' the mass effect games. I 'like' the assassins creed games. But I like the mass effect games far more than the assassins creed games and I only like the AC games very slightly.

Yeah. I 'liked' the endings. The combination of sound, music, ect at the endgame did not bring out emotions of despair or sorrow. It was more of a '**** yeah' feeling. I also have a massive imagination and have been able to fill in the large plot holes (come on guys, use your brain. Just because a reason for something wasn't explained doesn't mean that it didnt exist. Just think about it and a logical explanation would present itself).

That said, the sheer number of plot holes (even if I have explanations for most of them) is staggering and the lack of a true happy ending is not what I was expecting.

So yes, I do like the endings. Do I think they could have been better? Yes. Definitely.

I liekd it when I first played it, but then I realised there are no other endings, so now I'm upset. I don't love it though, it feels incomplete. You don't get to see what happens to the rest of the galaxy or comrades. It's unsatisfactory.

I don´t have a problem with the endings per si. I was expecting sacrifice, death, suffering and sadness. What got me down is that I don`t know how things ended for my crew or all the other characters and races I came to care about. That and how uterlly screwed they all are in any ending...Apart from that, exceptional story and game, powerfull themes and ending.

I liked my ending.  I knew during the final conversations with my crew in London that there was a big possiblity that my Shepard would not make it out of this alive, especially with Ashley my LI.  He survived Akuse, but would probably not survive this.  So I got to the three endings,  I was not about to destroy the Geth who I united with the Quarians & EDI as well. The join together ending didn't even cross my mind.  I pulled a Legion or 2001 star child ending.  I chose to take control and sacrafice my body, but upload my mind to the machines and control the reapers.  Now I know what your thinking, I opposed TIM on the control thing... I did, but then ghost child explained the options/outcomes of the new cycle... and I thought it was the best option.

It seemed like the best way to end it for my shepard.  I'm also cool with the whole Normandy Crew crash land thing, hey they survived.  Though I probably wasn't the only one who thought: "Come on Joker! Out fly that explosion! Do it! Do it!" when I saw that part.

We'll see how I feel after I do my renegade playthrough.  But my paragon ending was fine.  However, I can see why so many people are upset.

I'll probably get flamed for this, but I'm also one of the few people who actually enjoyed Dragon Age II and thought it expanded Thedas' history etc.
