We genuinely apologize for the delay in response and appreciate your interest in Mass Effect 3. Let us inform you that the issue which you have raised is already known to us. This is a known issue and our technical team is working on this issue. Also we advise you to prevent this from happening again by following the two steps below:

1.Avoiding going into the Store while 'Ready' for a multiplayer match. It's best to un-ready yourself before you go to the store.

2.Not accepting invites while in the store/purchasing

Regarding lost/relocked items – we cannot restore lost items at this time. This is part of what Bioware is working out, and updates to the situation can be gained from Bioware Social Network web site.

Please get assured about this issue that it is going to get solved very soon. We would appreciate your patience regarding the same.

Might as well throw my name into the loop as well. Only lost credits so I'm not too upset. Hopefully a patch will come soon fixing the problem. As it stands now, I don't feel motivated to touch MP.

Moreover, I promoted a 20 lvl soldier yesterday and while ago I reloaded some save and noticed he is nowhere to be found. No e-mail from Hackett, no update in War Room...

...is this for real?

It doesnt update, and past the first email, you dont get anymore. (Near as im aware, you only get it for the very first promotion ever.) The War Asset total will just increase by 75 per promotion... that's it.

I'm on the xbox and i had Mircosoft's Clous Save Enabled.. if thats any help I lost everything but N7 Rank and Credits

If this were true this would cause a massive law suit and to be honest the amount we spent would be greatly increase due to the stress and everything of not a single word from EA/Bioware.

I wouldn't want a rollback because i have been playing since i lost my gear to rack up my Credits and stockpile them until i hear something then when and if i get my gear back i will go on a shoping spree for stuffs :)

Wonder why they have not made a temporary patch that makes people unready when they enter any screen other than the lobby and just refund the people affected by the glitch. Seems like the easy way to reduce the issue and provide more time to fix it.

I replied to this thread a couple of days ago when I lost everything, so I thought I'd just put down the things I can remember loosing incase they do try to restore:

Respec Card
+1 Missile capacity
Turian Sentinel
Salarian Infiltrator
Quarian Engineer
Asari Adept
Falcon Assault Rifle
Viper Sniper Rifle
Mattock Assault Rifle
Graal Spike Thrower
(More but can't remember)

Spent £25.50 on MS points (3000) I bought about 200-300 thousand credits worth of spectre and veteran packs too

I'm beginning to think they are probably just wrangling with their legal team about how they can get away with not refunding points or cash without being sued into oblivion. Apparently its in the EULA that there is no refund for Bioware Points.

they are probably trying to spend the least amount of money possible, with that being said maybe our data really is there and instead of refunding all our losses and making them lost god know how much money they want to fix the bug before they connect us to our items again, im not sticking up for them but at this point in time there many "Solutions" that can present themselves, I'm down for whatever they give me as long as it involves my 2080 Microsoft Points or the value of it.. and i dont want a d*** discount coupon.... i've recieved 2 already just asking for answers o.O

But see even if the rules states they cant or wont refund Bioware points, you still have all those Mircosoft people. And Mircosoft plays a different game Hehe, i mean you wont be suing them for the refund of your bioware points Duh! you will be suing for the simple fact you did not recieve the product you paid...

But i think bioware if this is the case is too worried about being sued, rather then fixing this bug and like i said if that is the case. I love Bioware and EA very much but dont think i wont jump on the wagon if a line starts to recieve "Teh Moneys" but after the week long massive crap i've been getting from everyone and their mother i am still loyal to both companies... I want to wait this out like the man i am but at a point i will start destroying things (First comes the discs then comes the xbox, very sad)

Ultima online back before ea owned them did a rollback for just the people affected by an item loss bug. Also some of bioware's early employees (had them on icq, probably moved on to other studios now ) played with me in there. Many games since have dealt with this problem sooner as well.

To be honest they already lost my money with their ****** poor handling of this whole situation. Fortunately I bank with an awesome bank that didn't question this too much and the longer EA/Bioware doesn't say a damn thing the more they make my case for challenging those transactions.

U can add me to the list. If u think ur stories are sad, listen to this one; i bount 3 x 2800 microsoft points + 5000 which i purchased with my credit card and i had 2000 leftover from another download, and guess what.... spent them all on spectre packs... and LOST IT ALL... I had a lvl 9 widow... it 2 shotted a brute on gold difficulty... this is my first mass effect game and i spent about 200$ + the game and the glitch ate it :S i sure hope i get my stuff back, but these things happen and i understand but still.... think about it...

SnipeShoo - I'm sorry to say that, but you prolly won't get your items back, not to mention lost points. The best thing BW can do is just fix this bug and that's about it.

Not reimbursing people for points spent would be a bad idea from a business standpoint. At the very least they need to give the appropriate number of kits purchased back to the players that spent points/money on the MP.

I have transaction history in the Origin client, shows the order number, date and amount, and I can scan my two EA cards.

There's no real reason to not do the same for people who purchased with credits.
