Yeah this is exactly what caused it for me lost about 10 levels worth of stuff, But yeah i forget i like accidentally readied up and then clicked the store button and lost everything, also all the weapons i had modded are like locked that way its really weird.

I think that those who have spent and thus lost points on their purchase should get those refunded, or at least some form of compensation as they have effectively been cheated out of money.
(also to restore trust in the service, no one is going to spend money on points if they think they can loose them to a random bug with no chance of refund)

This is true. Shouldn't have to 'wait a week'. I've paid some money for this and now its all gone. Don't use the service if they can't keep up with their end of the bargain. Massive Bugs like this should be dealt with quickly instead of waiting for the next patch to fix the issues.

A good amount of people never heard about this issue and are still investing bioware points. If you can't figure out the problem, why are you still allowing people to do payments? Is this some new business strategy to rip off players? Because it certainly feels like it.
I hope all players get their lost bioware points refundend. Everything else would be theft.
