4 Spectre packs 3 veteran packs using points and I don't know how much I've spent in in game credits. I've lost my carnafax hand cannon, my falcon, tons of mods and all my character unlocks. Its enough to say I'm not happy. Not happy in the least.

So they released a patch but gave no word on the progress of this item loss bug? Balancing a game no one can technically play without losing stuff.

I bought the $20 pack of points on Thursday, spent every point on spectre packs and lost everything later that night and it STILL hasn't been fixed. I talked to EA and after a little over an hour explained what happened and that I wanted my money and after all that they told me "sorry it looks like you already spent the points." WELL NO DUH I SPENT THEM! YOU TOOK IT ALL AWAY THOUGH!
EAs incredible customer service strikes again.

Ah this is horrible. I have no faith in anything related to Bioware or EA any more and there's a list of why.  It just angers me they posted a patch about balancing weapons etc, but nothing like "we're working on the item loss bug" at least. I'd like to play a game I paid for but I'm scared to lose anything else and if it's all never coming back, there's not a single reason to play this anymore or wait around on answers from people who seem to not care about their customers enough to have warned them with an email or the in-game news feed... that it took someone on steam chat to tell me about this specific thread. I didn't even hear it from origin, ea or bioware. Real money I paid, they have, but I lost items too.

Lost $20 worth of points spent on 10 spectre packs, several weapon unlocks and character unlocks, as well as equipment that was useful. Origin live chat support 3 times out of 3 now on seperate issues has been absolute crap. I'm hoping I can get some kind of recompense for my lost money and time via this forum.

I contacted support and I got the reply "They are working on it". Guy was actually pretty helpful and checked for an update, but as of yet there isn't one apart from the big itself being acknowledged.

I did implicitly ask what the fix/refund would be but he would not give a straight answer, just kept saying EA/Bioware are working on a fix.

I'm done with Multiplayer until this gets fixed. I've invested too much time and money to start all over from scratch and have this happen again.

Exactly why I'm not touching multiplayer either. Unsure that if anything I earn now will get deleted with rollback/reimbursement hit (if they hit, paranoid me is wondering if EA are trying to come up with a legal spin "it's a feature, not a bug").

Another day and no response from BW. PC Magazine has already ran a story on this issue, what will it take for someone from BW to give us a update, seeing the story on the nightly news?

I love the Multiplayer on this game, and I have enjoyed all three Mass Effect games.  I have to say the lack of updates for people who have spent time and money on this product is insane though.

Half the complaints in this forum would stop, (at least mine would) if we were given a update on fixing this bug every couple of days.

I don't understand why they are taking the time to post about cheaters and a patch, and not giving us an update on lost items! I really want to know about this specific issue!

That's crazy, buying points should be disabled until this bug is fixed. It makes it appear like they don't care if people lose money or that they care about the customers. I'm not saying they don't, but that's just how it looks to me, it looks bad and irresponsible.

Yeah well I am basically only annoyed that they so far didn't tell us how they are going to handle this. Fixing such a bug can take a moment, especially if you roll out fixes to 3 different systems - in case it needs client side fixing:
you don't wanna take that lightly.

If they need 2 weeks that would be fine with me, even not disabling selling for BW points would be really fine with the, if they would have come forward and told everyone they are going to reimburse credits/BW points and not doing a rollback of some sort. Of course I don't know how good they keep track of these transactions, but at least for BW/MS points I would expect the records to be rather thorough.

This would make everybody able to go on playing, buy and unlock things without being afraid that everything gets lost and for those that have been victim to the bug it would mean you could just go on an start reunlocking again. It simply would take alot of the tension out of this discussion. For both sides.

I like how within the week this is bug was made aware they put in a new crate on all platforms, and they can't give us a simple "we ran into trouble" if that is the case. They won't stop all activities on shops because there is still a vast majority without this.

I had unlocked numerous characters, two N7 weapons, a few gold weapons, other misc weapons and upgrades, and enough supplies and equipment to last for a long time. I lost it all when I was in a friends game that he was hosting,

I went to the store and decided to pay $1.99 for a spectre pack, in hopes of getting something new. He left and it migrated hosts while my transaction was being processed. When I got back from the loading screen, the spectre pack opened like normal. I glanced at the worhtless items for the money I just wasted, and clicked x. It took me back to the store and showed that I had another starter pack for free. So I opened it without thinking. Got a weapon I already had. ?? I thought "Huh? That's weird." I went to change my weapon to the Geth Shotgun, but I didn't have it or any of the other ones, except the weapons, supplies, and equipment unlocked from the newest spectre pack and starter pack.

Anyway, this is how it happened to me. Hope this helps you fix the problem. I want all the packs I purchased, prior to the glitch, back. I'm sure that someone could figure out how many I bought. I know how many I paid for.

On another note (sort of) , I contacted EA on the matter.  I Said what happened and they said to wait 24/48 hrs, and if it's not fixed, then post on the forums. So here I am. Fix it.

 Yeah, I had this happen to me as well. I lost my Krogan SEntinel as well other stuff. What I don't understand is when this bug was discovered why weren't we notified through the Cerberus Network, or whatever it's called now, as opposed to just a forum post? People are going to find out about the problem anyways and they could've made a bigger effort to avoid people being screwed over.

Happend to me as well I am hoping for like a reset or something. All of my stuff I unlocked from crates is now locked again.
