The lack of official word on a fix or compensation annoys me more than the lost items themselves. I don't like being kept in the dark. I don't like having to wait in uncertainty.
Bioware's reps post on a daily basis. They're talking about balance changes. They're just not talking about THIS issue.
That's intentional. They're keeping quiet - on purpose. Because their bosses haven't decided what to tell us.
It's also obvious why they don't want to plaster warnings about the bug to people who haven't been affected. People would stop playing. People would stop buying their stuff.
I know that. You know that. We're not blind. But with each passing day, we're all getting more and more annoyed, especially since we can see damn well what's going on. EA and Bioware need to realise that.
That's the most repugnant part, that we're being intentionally kept in the dark. It's insulting.
I consider myself a typically positive person. I *love* Bioware's games. I've bought every piece of DLC they've ever put on the Xbox Live Marketplace, because I have profound admiration for their work and dedication. But this is just indefensibly bad.
Talk to us. Or hell, talk to me. I've lost stuff too, but I'm a logical person. I can forgive human error, but I cannot forgive apathy.

EA should really think about renaming themselves rEAper Games after all this mess. That's the only way to explain why BioWare is acting strange after years of doing good things. It's really depressing and confusing like a certain ending...
That guy Chris said he saw points in the game... was that after this bug or you always had those?

I love the multiplayer mode...something I was quite surprised to discover when the demo dropped, given how sceptical I was about the decision to include multiplayer. I enjoy the characters that I have unlocked so far, and while I do hold issues with elements of the unlock system, I am by and large happy with what I have gained...and for fear of losing what I have gained, and without even a hinted yes or no as to whether those gains would be restored should I lose them, I'm not playing the game anymore. I'm not playing a game I enjoy playing because EA/Bioware representatives can't be bothered to offer up even token information or assurances.
C'mon, guys. We know that you're taking a LOT of flak, and most of it is over the top or out of line. Keeping quiet is only going to exacerbate the fan outcry. Give us something, anything. Just show that you're still interested.

I can't understand inaction on a problem which is preventing people from paying extra money. People who hear about this will not want to spend money on unlocking kits. These micro-transactions are what EA has explicitly stated that their strategy is based upon. Why is no attention being paid to this?
I have been spreading word of the issue to every gaming forum and news outlet I can think to. I encourage everyone to do the same.

I can, from the sociopathic perspective by which all EA decisions make sense, understand a company not caring to fix a bug which prevents their customers from playing multiplayer at all, like the one which has afflicted me since this afternoon. All that does is lighten the load on their servers. The saps have already bought the game, who cares if they continue to enjoy it?

I have been spreading the word too on various sites but mostly on Twitter (14k followers that are all gamers) I hope they listened. actually I got back 100s of replies so maybe some did. It makes me depressed, because I generally liked their games. I was going to buy Syndicate too for the multi (I know Bioware didn't make it) but I don't want to buy any more EA games or BioWare games, until they actually correct this bug, in a reasonable way.

I can't believe a 6-day old thread that's now 24 pages long has no real update as to what's going on. In the meantime, I'll wait "some time" as I was told by the service rep and hope my stuff gets restored, knowing that the chances of that happening are probably zero. Even if I were refunded my MS points, so what? That pales in comparison to the time I spent earning credits on my own.
But I won't have to worry about a refund since I was told it was impossible. Really? That's what you tell a paying customer? That because of a bug on your end which made something I paid for disappear, well, it's just gone...better luck next time. What is that?

Spend 1600BioWare points on Spectre Packs. (Cant believe if they fix it i will get it back)
Crap about thousands of credits and BioWare points on most valuable packs and lost all.
Didnt play multiplayer again until they fix it. And my hope is that they will fix it and bring it all items back.
But i worry about if they fix it they dont give it back. Spend about 5-6 days in multiplayer. Been lucky and got many cool things. :(Now lost all . Sry for bed English (EU) .

2 bronze, 1 silver.
Before purchase left the room, and came into shop.
I suspect a cloud of incorrect work.

I have tweeted them twice but no answer, i suspect they have no idea on ETA of the fix. Why would they not respond if they have a fix coming soon? Bad year for me, 1st DICE with tunnelfield 3 and Bioware with bug effect 3.
My hope will die when, rather I will die than it, I am sure that to us will compensate everything
Simply I report about the mistake, I hope I will help than that.
I wish all good luck and pleasant game, and to employees of BioWare of good luck and patience in correction of this mistake, and understanding to players.

I stayed clear of the shop because I was saving up for a Spectre pack. So, logging into the store while invited isn't the problem.

You know, developers playing shotgun with our progression by linking it to cloud networks/DRM is getting to me. First Batman Arkham city keeps hijacking my save games, now Mass Effect 3 wipes my progress when it feels like it.
Wake up developers! This isn't working and it's only having a detrimental effect on your customer base. Cloud networking is simply too new a system to be used reliably.

The fun part is that they refuse to close the shop even after 6 days. Obviously they don't have a solution yet, but they gladly accept your money anyway. As for IGN, Kotaku and the like not posting about this. No clue maybe they get paid by EA to keep silent?
Yes the correct solution of 100 % it agrees, it is necessary to close for a while shop where it is possible to buy BioWare glasses.
When I create game, many beginners come to me which even don't know about it a mistake, after all not all have time for forums.

Exactly this is the worst part, people can still waste money on stuff that WILL eventually disappear. Its not a matter of if but of when you will get the bug. Many people have no idea of the bug, and still buy stuff.JediDZ wrote...

Edit: They should at least put a warning in game to let the new players know of this horrible bug
