*Shrugs*

Arkham city losing my progress makes my froth from the mouth.

ME3 losing my MP progress? Meh... I'm going to remain chipper about this. I didn't even know there was a MP component when I bought the game. It was an added bonus.

As long as Bioware doesn't lose my Sheppard, I'm peachy. I'm simply going to enjoy Single Player and only play MP to keep my Readiness at 100%. I haven't lost my credits, so untill Bioware fixes it, I'm simply going to hog them and only buy stuff after Bioware fixes it.
I should be a bazzilionair if Rocksteady's Arkham city is any indication.

Just remember if you see Skirlasvoud's female soldier running around in the game and failing to hold the line because of her crappy weapons, than that is Bioware's fault, not mine.

The fun part is that they refuse to close the shop even after 6 days. Obviously they don't have a solution yet, but they gladly accept your money anyway. As for IGN, Kotaku and the like not posting about this. No clue maybe they get paid by EA to keep silent?

Yes the correct solution of 100 % it agrees, it is necessary to close for a while shop where it is possible to buy BioWare glasses.
When I create game, many beginners come to me which even don't know about it a mistake, after all not all have time for forums.

Exactly this is the worst part, people can still waste money on stuff that WILL eventually disappear. Its not a matter of if but of when you will get the bug. Many people have no idea of the bug, and still buy stuff.
Edit: They should at least put a warning in game to let the new players know of this horrible bug

Absolutely correct decision.

The source of revenue for a game review site is advertising.  Publishers have a lot of outlets to choose from, which gives them a lot of control over what any given business partner says about them.

This is the same thing that destroyed the integrity of national TV news in the 80's and 90's once the networks started treating the news as a prospective source of revenue.

Does this happen at random, or were you "ready" when you go to the shops?

For me, I never even visited the shops. The game host simply migrated 4 times and my data apparently missed a jump.

Yes it happens on all platforms, i would not play the mp until they fix the bug. I havent played a single minute of mp because of this bug. Im not gonna spend my time and maybe microsoft points on something that is gonna go away.
If i were you i would stay clear since you spent so many points. To make it clear, bioware has not said anything about repayment of lost credits/real money/microsoft points/bioware points.

First time I lost my items the guy said it would be resolved in 24-48 hours, if there is any truth to this the problem will be fixed during the next 9 hours.  He was very vague what this fix actually men't.

The second time I lost my item's the guy I talked with promised me that I would get all my characters and gear back from both whipes, but he couldn't tell me how long it would take.
Hopefully the last guy spoke the truth and we will all get our gear back.

Yesterday I talked to guy from EA help centre. I tell him what happend to me. And his answer was post it into game forum.......Gosh feels like 10year old boy. Even if I be (10) years old i pay for something and want normal answer. Better and Better! Dont go again to mp until see some fix or resolve what happening to all who play mp.

If there's something I hate about MP it's the way hosting is handled, or rather...how it's not handled. A host leaving forces you back into "Look for a game" mode, or ends the game you're in. I'm not sure why the MP architecture even requires a host upon whom all depends.

To be safe from this bug you can only buy items when you are not queued up for a match, they should just disable shop in match party while they resolve this bug.

A simple resolution - only host games. That way you will be unaffected by host migration (as you are the host).

Received a reply from the support a few hours ago. Nothing new, it appears to be even more ambiguous. I get a sense they're pretty far from resolving it adequately...

*sigh* At least got another promotional code and bought Dead Space dilogy for relatively cheap price...

And then we'd be responsible, in a way, when people lose their stuff.

What if they never solve it? or solve it in 3 months? Wow, i know its farfetched but think about it. 1 week gone, not 1 rep from bioware has said anything official about this issue. Big gaming sites are not saying anything...I think the issue is so deep in the code of the game that to solve it would cost too much dev time.

I'm assuming that news sites haven't said anything simply because it's slanderous. I'm curious if any gaming blogs have brought this up, y'know, OUTSIDE of Kotaku/Joystiq and those more well known folks. I discussed it on my podcast and warned folks, but I have a small listenership.

Bah, i keep getting multiplayer invites from friends.
I gotta say, some information WOULD be nice at this point.... annything.... just a "its ok, you can play multiplayer untill we fix this, you wont lose anny new items you gain" would be great.

All i can do at this point is sit arround and pout, hoping for a fix :<

Or you can do as I did, start over again then lose everything for a second time.
Lost about 2000 000 credits, which included some very neat weapons and characters =/
