Know how that feels, been waiting since Sunday myself. Fortunately, the percentage doesn't drop too fast, but still kind of bad how much the endings are tied into something that only people that play online can do. Well those people or people who throw down about $7 for the iPod/iPhone app.

Funny, I thought there was only one ending.. *shrugs* 

On topic, been like this since saturday.. if it's not fixed tomorrow, well, guess add/remove programs will be getting a visit from me..

they do server resets in other games daily sometimes and maintenance. We probably won't know after tomorrow if it fixed anything unless logging in actually shows that we get things back we lost, if any of the stuff the people at EA support said were true. If nothing comes back I assume it's still broke.

I re-unlocked my Quarian Infiltrator... And it already had a name/colours and points spent the way I had them before the glitch. The game itself KNOWS the characters exist, but for some reason doesn't allow their selection. I also noticed this as I was playing with a Human infiltrator (and had spent all my points), that the game was *still* telling me I had points to spend on one of my characters (That being the QI which I had lost).

Seems a really peculiar bug, after having unlocked the QI again, the pistol I had equipped was telling me I had extended barrel (in the model viewer) but I haven't re-unlocked that yet... So it freaked out a little. I hope tomorrow I get my other characters/items... But I think it might break more as my Mantis is now Lv 2 (It was 7)... So will that make it 8 or will it revert to 7? :|

No there are several endings. but I am guessing many of you had the pc version. I have a xbox version and spent 100 dollars of microsoft points. How am I to get a refund . PC people go directly through BioWare themselves but xbox people have to deal with both microsoft and bioware making situations more complex :'( I want my stuff back

I lost all my junk @ the win screen of a match.   

the screen flickered and it showed the welcome to MP screen.   Upon going top the menu poof all gone.   

I did spend BW points on it too.   All that gone.  

Wtf are we supposed to do now?   wait?

Hm i didn't mention the endings, you must have misquoted. I saw all the endings, most are the same ending but a tiny difference.   I don't even care about singleplayer it's ruined. I just want multi to work. Resident Evil Raccoon City is out Tuesday (just for console at the moment), completely built around multiplayer. Sadly the PC one is delayed but the PC closed beta was amazing. It's like 98% more to do there than this game. They're really taking a gamble waiting so long to fix this multiplayer item loss issue.  I'm seeing more sites reporting this too but nothing major yet... but pc gamer. We could make this issue trend on twitter easily, if people are committed enough.

Still if they were to refund people how do us with xbox's who used microsoft points go about getting refunds? Microsoft has a strict no refund policy when it comes to their point system.

The console version has a BWP number in multiplayer right? I bought my BWP with EA cards. They just need to do what I said so many threads back and give everyone a TON of points and access to every individual item on the store. We buy the items we want, to hell with the booster pack stuff. That's how I'd do it. How many points they give can be determined through transaction history, all mine is recorded I can pull it up and give them a number, or they can just go on good faith like they had in the past with the DA2=free ME2 deal they did in April last year, and give us lots of points and the option go in and specifically buy the weapons, mods and characters we want for a limited time. Though in all honestly I think we should be able to buy the exact things we want all the time, especially if REAL money is involved. They can bundle some and list off what each bundle contains, so the garbage stuff gets bought too, like bundle the trash mods and guns with a good character, but at least let us pick. If I want to play guessing games I'll go play Magic or Heroclix if that **** is even still around.

I dont think they are gonna refund anyone anything. They most likely can simply give everything back.

If the bug is able to remove something like that then they certainly have a way of knowing what you had and giving it back.

true but for the damn downtime this has caused because going in there to play is wasting our time, they should extend it a bit and compensate us in some way. Like "sorry we inconvienanced you, to show good faith we will be awarding everyone x amount of bonus credits or bioware points to spend and again, we are sorry for our poor communication." I bought a game I can't play because it's not functioning properly.  They don't tell us if they can give us our stuff back we lost, and that even though we lose stuff it's okay to keep playing. There is no word, no one cares at BioWare it seems.

No the console has no such thing as Bioware points. That only exists for the computer versions. We have Microsoft points which is much different and managed by Microsoft.

Well you do have the regular  credits you earn from playing normally right? they could increase that like I just said in my last post. Or put some 1 time credit pack download in the ms store or whatever xbox uses. I haven't played mine in a long time. PSN for PS3 users.  The amount would have to be pretty high though, unless they let us pick specific characters and weapons from categories like rare, ultra rare, common etc.  In the end, I'd like to see them do away with the booster pack/guessing games and just allow us to specifically buy the items and characters we want though.

As the guy stated he lost money in the demo it didn't allow packs to be bought with real cash. And Launch was a week ago not 2, and only way it could of happened to you on Monday before the game released you had to be one of the lucky people who got it from a jet, And that was only 6 copies and one is in a tree right now.. I'm not dumb I know dates and I know all the info needed to tell if someone is telling the truth or not and I f8nd your story a complete lie and it seem you want someone to pity you..

If they say, in a nutshell "Nothing is getting restored, tough luck" EA and Bioware will lose a large portion of their fan base.  Anyone who keeps playing, in the event that actually occurs, would have to be a masochist and/or a complete sucker to keep supporting these companies.

However, I have faith Bioware will refund any lost Bioware points, and that they have logs of what is/isn't unlocked and can restore them, even if it's a rollback of sorts.  It's in their best interests to refund as many virtual items as they possibly can.  It costs them zero extra money, doesn't upset game mechanics and most importantly, would make this fiasco nothing more than a temporary set back.  Why they haven't done it already is most likely because until that bug is isolated and fixed, it will just keep happening, increasing their work load.

I want this to be resolved as much as the next person, but give them some rope and hope they don't hang us all with it.

who lied? that guy just said the bug existed in the multi demo, with unlocking packs (not buying them). I unlocked things with the normal credits you earned in the demo too and then some of the items disappeared for me as well. I didn't think much of it then, being it was a demo for the game.  I think that's what he meant, i'd hope. If he did say he bought BWP in the demo, then yeah he would have been lying. Regardless they bug existed before launch but I assumed at launch it was gone... only it wasn't.

yes it did came in the game case. Bioware doesnt have anything to do with our point purchases on xbox they just accept it as a form of payment is all we are giving money to Microsoft is what it is when we buy points. System is much different, in reality the console version of games tend to have it off worse than the pc version does as I have run into multiple problems with the DA series that are easily fixed in the pc version but the xbox has been stated will never get a fix for them.

Well I think bioware can give out  free credits (not bwp) and increase the credits tied to your origin id, but hopefully they have some form of record that returns everything to us when it's fixed... whenever that is.  With lots of games specifically made for multi coming out, things are looking bad. It was already hard to do gold correctly and with less people at 3 am when I play, it will only be more difficult. Might not be worth playing.

Yeah I havent even bothered with gold. In the time frame it takes to do gold I could have done 3-5 bronzes and have the same if not more experience than if i had done 1 gold

Did you keep playing or just abbandoned MP until this is solved?
