Well just got done speaking to ea support. To my surprise they told me the same exact thing from the chats saying thier technical team is looking into it and ask for our patience. Key word is PATIENCE. Like really? How much more patient do they want us to be it's been two weeks and still nothing. I hope they compensate me for what I spent. It's just ridiculous how long this has been going on and still no progress.

I completely agree, i wasted how many hours of my life to unlock nearly everything possible (weapons/character wise) and then i got reset and i've had to wait 2 weeks SO FAR. Its ridiculious.

It probably doesn't help any, but..

I got hit a while back and had lost my Asari Vanguard. I kept playing to try and re-unlock the character and finally did so today with one of the new character packs.

So, in case anyone was curious if it was possible or what would happen if you re-unlocked a locked character.. it's possible to do so.

The game remembered I had unlocked it, so now I have more customization options just as if you unlocked it normally.

So, yeah, the information is definitely still out there it just has to be relinked somehow, which some had already guessed. Hopefully this gives some hope for those still hit by the bug.

It goes to show you how much companies care about thier fan base. You an update every few days would be much appreciated to atleast give us some sort of assurance that they are working on it. But NO thy have to wait until they have either fixed it or until it has been completely forgotten. That just isn't a way to treat your fans. You guys are getting rich while we are being scammed and guess what if I tried to cancel the transactions I made it would be considered fraud on my part. Which would lead to a ban which is ridiculous.

yeah the total lack of respect from bioware/ea is really sad.
they can't even keep us a little bit updated? thats all we ask for!
im feeling more and more like a trashdoll everyday for ea/bioware stealing my money, its been 2 weeks without me having the products i actually bought.

Hmmmm, Ten days since I got hit with the bug, and I am out 3200 bioware points and over 30 hours of ingame points. I think I will be talking to Origin now, I dont want a refund, but I do want my real life money back in the form of bioware points at the very least.

Nice to see you at least got your real money/bwpoints "refunded". But just like you I had played ~30 hours and purchased ~25 spectre, 20 vet and 20 recruit packs before I was hit by the relock bug. It would suck if we were not to get back the stuff we got by investing a lot of our time ....

Talked to EA phone support for another 45 minutes today. Basically got told they can't do anything, tickets escalated, I have to keep waiting on Bioware. If I process a chargeback my account can be banned.

Been playing bioware games since Baldurs Gate and every single game in between. Just a few months ago I bought 2 collectors edition, and 3 digital deluxe editions of SW:ToR for myself and all my friends, in addition to paying for the first 6 months subscription on each of those accounts. Heck, I bought 3 copies of CE Mass Effect 3 on Amazon just a few weeks ago.

And if I take my money back for a service I paid for that they are not rendering they will ban my account. Eat a 200 dollar loss, or never play a Bioware game again. Yay. :mellow:

I have the same problem here. All unlock are gone.
This kind of bugs is the worst thing that can happen to any multiplayer game. Many of people resign from further play, like me... If they fix this bug and give me back my items/ credits that it cost me, I'll reconsider my decision.
Remember Bioware, Its DLC money...

Funny part about that buddy... you have all the right to. No fraud! You purchased and paid for a product and received it but was, unexpectable taking away, without any acknowledgement of it in the past. Thats like robbing you of your purchased product because of their broken product. Its truly a god awful shame that you have to spend 66 bucks for this game (a broken game) and then spend extra money on packs to have a little bit more fun and dont get ANYTHING OUT OF IT... we spent money on a game that dont work right, it also takes your seperately purchased items away, and then the ea support you do receive is useless. Its always "I can't do anything about that, it's on Bioware end," or "Wait 5-6 days and we will contact an senior offical about this ordeal" and never receive ANYTHING!!!!!!!!! its like we paid for a unfinished project, i respect this bioware... i was planning on buying bioshock infinite and so on... but this is like a way of telling me not to waste another 66 dollars on a broken game. Also, this isn't a problem just happening to one or two people, this is happening to thousands of people, and there's nothing done nor said ACTUALLY what the process is going to take, what will it fix, and what ACTUALLY caused the whole ordeal. All i want and expect is a decent reply of information, not this... "It will be fixed (soon)."

Haven't touched the game in 12 days. By the time Bioware has fixed this issue (if they bother), my friends have most likely finished and moved on to something else.

I sincerely hope Bioware is reminded that this will lead to less DLC sales from a segment of their fans.

I just got off the phone with an EA UK Support person and he said that if I were to get a refund for my BioWare points, then my account would get banned. He suggested that I keep up to date on what's going on here and wait for BioWare to restore my items.

I love how I've seen an article about someone starting a case with the FTC over the endings, but nothing about this. Anyone contact the Better Business Bureau or anything?

That is what it has come down to for me. Cancel any subscription with EA games like SW:ToR or WAR and notify them that you will not waste more money on a compnay that is taking money for a broken product and refusing to reimburse. They never said they would ban my account if they give a refund (they just ignore my demands for reimbursement) but if they did I'd add that to a complaint with the BBB.

They haven't even removed options to spend MS points or Bioware points for the packs, have they? What does that tell you about their handling of the situation? They won't reimburse those who have already lost time/money and they don't even try to prevent people from spending and losing more money on the glitch. After the fact you get a pointless warning, "Avoid going into store while "ready" or taking invites while in store".

Fun fact, I was doing neither of those things when I lost my unlocks. I was playing a match that began to glitch and lag so badly that I couldn't move and had to wait for the group to all die. It is almost sad that they have handled this so poorly and Bioware was bought by EA. I enjoyed a lot of old Bioware games, even looked forward to the legacy update of SW:ToR.

Oh well, I'll try some FPS, GW2, or RPGs from other companies.

I just beat a gold round and lost all of my credits and experience... first gold round too... is there a fix for this? I tried to go into the store right away for a spectre pack, i think thats what went wrong.
