I also lost 240BW points and 140k in-game creds because of this.
I called EA, and they basically said they can't do anything until Bioware addresses the issue.
Instead of wasting time on things like "weekend events," they should pay attention to the more important matters at hand here.
U are very right about that.
I just lost another 60k credit from FAILED purchase. GOD DAMN **** ... when is this going to end?
Are u guys fixing this ****?

Up until the release of ME3, anyone could have asked me who my favorite game dev was, and I would reply Bioware with complete confidence. Their work has ALWAYS been amazing (I have supported them with the entire Baldur's Gate series, the entire Neverwinter Nights franchise, all of the SWKOTOR games, all of the Mass Effect games, and Dragon Age 1 and 2). If you look at it, if Bioware released a game, I would buy it knowing I was purchasing quality.
The worst part, is that I will not be buying another Bioware game EVER. I spent $80 for the Collector's Edition, and another $40 for Bioware points in multiplayer. I lost EVERYTHING I spent and earned with countless hours in multiplayer, and one month later still don't have it. Again, ONE WHOLE MONTH. I have been waiting that long to finish the single player until I get full galaxy readiness, but can't do that now, as I have tried three different times, only to be reset repeatedly. It is useless trying to play either single player or multiplayer at the moment. Any decent game dev would have had their either figured out or refunded by now.
I can't really put it into words how saddened by the outcome of this bug. I want to support Bioware so badly, but when they pull something like this, it would just be fiscally stupid to support them.
I did try my hand at support to get the issue fixed, or even get news, and the response was pathetic. Not only does EA continue to disappoint, but Bioware has one post on the issue which is almost a month old. Absolutely NO news for 48 pages worth of people that have the bug (and I am sure there are more that haven't made posts).
TL DR: I have been a long time Bioware supporter, but have completely given up on them as a company and will never waste money on them again.

Does the new glitch happen when people try to use bioware/microsoft points or just in-game credits? If so, its pathetic that they still have the option to pay with points, knowing full well they already robbed many unsuspecting players and will inevitably screw over more.
EA/Bioware has taken over as my company with the worst customer service experience now.... congratulations, you have proven even more incompetent than Apple and their "geniuses." I at least got a refund/replacement for their crappy product after talking to those idiots long enough.

Same for me! Taking in account that I used to play a f2p mmo, and the fact that I live in eastern europe, that's something! xDKuraikoto wrote...

Crazy. I'm not sure what BW is doing on the backend with their networks, but this definately screwing with my mods, points...everything. Now I'm down to starting all over again and I'm not sure what happened.

Wow was on the phone when i started this post. My credit card company was efficient. They already credited the entire 211 dollars from 10 transactions back to me. That was way easier than I thought it would be.
Sorry bioware, you just messed up too bad.
Curious to see where things fall. I've continued to spend money with them, if they ban my account I'll have to issue chargebacks for the purchase of the game as well as money I've spent since they fixed the bug. If I remember right, every charge back costs the merchant 35 dollars on top of the money refunded. And I made a lot of transactions.

I am interested in the chargeback... What is it? Anyone care to give a short explanation?
If you used a credit card to buy bioware points and then got ripped off by this bug you can contact your bank or credit union that issued the card and explain to them what happened. They are usually able to get your money back.
This is seriously one of the ****tiest customer experiences I have ever had. I mean I had heard things about EA before, but just figured it was angry game nerds being angry game nerds. This has really been something else. Sad to see their policies tarnish a good name like Bioware.

They said they can't do a thing because the packs are provided by Bioware.
The lady couldn't believe what this company is doing to us.
She said to keep posting on the forums, contact EA, Bioware, and be persistent.
Sucks being ripped off.....

ironically, this is BIOWARES fault, NOT EA's. Your blaming the wrong ship. EA is not the developer of the game nor the ones responsible for taking the credits and not providing the items. The glitch was caused by BIOWARES coding, and nothing has been done by BIOWARE. it is BIOWARES TOS that are saying people will be banned not EA. EA has a bad rep sure but this is not their fault in any way shape or form. If anything is going to get done its bioware, and frankly bioware has screwed their last 3 big releases. SWTOR has pretty bad support, tickets taking days if not weeks to be resolved, and that is 100% bioware. They are failing their fanbase and destroying their own reputation.
Bugs like this should never get past beta phase, and if youve played SWTOR youd also know that severe bugs made it out of beta testing and bioware said oh well, lets launch and fix it later. This is the downfall of many companies and why i will never fault Blizzard for pushing dates back, because they release working products. I have yet to ever experiance a game breaking bug in any of blizzard releases since maybe vanilla wow
