It's real. I actually did get an item back, despite my earlier post--a level one Scorpion, which I lost and had never unlocked. It's in my weapons menu now, but not flagged as a new item so I had no idea it was there.

WEll you'd at the very least get the consumeables back (ammo,medigel,rockets ...)
But my stuff hasn't returned yet either.

I play on 360, idk if its platform or not, but I know a buddy of mine said he didn't anything back yet as well and he's on 360.

Well, the unfortunate thing for me is that I had unlocked so much since the wipe that I ended up maxing out a lot of weapons. So, when I "got my stuff back," in reality, I didn't get anything that I actually use as far as weapons - the rares are still the same level. What I did end up getting were about 50 rockets and medigels, but I've been capped at 255 for the others. I think that I got a few temp items like ammo and weapon mods, but not sure. I definitely ended up getting to use 7 rockets per game, which in reality, just means I will burn through them that much faster. All in all, I'd rather have the points back to unlock what is still locked to me instead of trying to give me things back that I had already re-unlocked.

I'm on 360, got my stuff back yesterday. I did talk to EA support the night I lost my stuff, so maybe that's why some are getting things back and others didn't??

A little communication during the fix process would have gone a long way. On the bright side, I don't need to worry about missiles or medigel for the foreseeable future.

I'm still missing my stuff - it's easy for me to tell, since there's obvious things like the Black Widow, Saber, etc. that I hadn't re-unlocked since.

And I did have a ticket with customer support about this, so obviously it isn't solely connected to that.

It's additive. If you had say, Widow II and got re-locked then got it back up to Widow V, the fix would give you Widow VII. If you re-leveled a weapon to X, then you get nothing since it can't go any higher.

Consumable capacity upgrades are also additive. After losing my stuff, I had unlocked all capacities up to 5. After the fix I can carry like 7 missiles and 8 medigels.

Consumables appear to work differently. In my case at least, it appears they just gave me however many missiles, medigel, etc that I had unlocked since I guess they can't track how many I actually used.

I checked last night and saw my lost items returned. I'm glad this problem has been resolved. I play on the 360.

I hope everyone gets their items restored that had this happen.

As others have mentioned, it would have been professional to get updated on the problem throughout.

Thanks bioware. Received my missing goodies. Umm... I also lost 10 million dollars and a gorgeous brunette wife who jogs and plays video games... so umm... please send that to me at once. lol

So, I got my items back. However as noted above, I did lose items because I played MP in the meantime. I had all mods unlocked, all chars, and most weapons. So I Imagine I lost quite a lot to the duplicities.

Overall I can't say I'm happy with the solution, the only happiness comes from the fact that I won't have to keep contacting them and reading this thread.

One month of waiting, no communication with us and semi-satisfying resolution. :/

I don't really see a reason why support this company by buying their products.
When others do everything they can to appease their customers.
Just today I downloaded a free enhanced-edition update for a great game, which had all it's DLC for free. When I bought it, it cost 2/3 of the cost of ME3 and there were no deluxe and normal editions, the very basic version was deluxe.

So much contrast in all aspects with this game which imo tried to sell even it's ending.
That's a bit too much for me.

Sorry for your loss. I didn't touch the game till I got my items back.
I even left the starter pack behind when I got reset.

Finally got a Refund...

It took 3 weeks, the creation of multiple tickets due to getting nothing but the run around from the worst customer service I’ve had the displeasure to deal with, submitting a complaint with BBB, and sending PM’s to moderators.

This experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and I doubt I will purchase another product from EA/Bioware ever again.

Gah just happened with a resurgence pack, opened, i unlocked some stuff including a geth engineer, and during this on the pack open screen i got randomly disconnected from the server and when i came back i had lost my 99k and all my unlocks.
