Hey bioware.
Is there any way that you could correct the gamma levels to match the other versions of the game. maybe a future patch. the 360 version is so dark that it obscures detail.
I know the xbox uses an odd gamma curve but many developers code around it. Other than that im loving the game.
too dark

same problem. Ashley's face in the opening scene was almost completely black because of the lighting/shadow/gamma issue

I thought it maybe was that I've changed from an LCD to a Plasma TV since ME2, but I guess not. This game is really dark.

Agreed! It really takes away from the game at times. Never had this issue on the playstation. It is not a deal breaker by any means, but I do wish it could be changed.

I used the calibration disc that came with the Halo 3 game. I don't run into those problems thanks to that.

I have a fully calibrated LCD and the darkness looks, well, dark!

Yeah, it still looks dark. I'm probably one of the few who owns the game on all 3 platforms, and you can tell that the 360 version does look darker overall.

ME1 had 3 graphic options plus film grain, blur and everyone can choose different saturation/contrast. Here we have only gamma :/
