 Hey all,

Like everyone else who's been trying to get the soundtrack working here on the site, I've spent several hours trying to get it solved. I had everything else from the CE installed in the game and tried installing the Online Pass twice with no success. Thanks to the assistance of an EA Help rep (kudos to Tania), I got it working. Here's what I had to do:

First and foremost, check to see if your PSN ID/Xbox Gamertag name IS NOT the same are your Origin ID. Mine was the same so I was instructed to go to the Origin site and update it to a new name. After changing it, I was able to see the download link for the soundtrack.

Hope this solution works with anyone who's still having trouble.

When you say update it to a new name, do you mean change the screen name? Or just change the name on your account?

You have to change the name of your Origin ID account if it's the same name as your PSN ID or Gamertag.

Tried changing my Origin ID and it did nothing. I contacted chat support using that link above and the soundtrack has been added to my registered content in a matter of minutes. I urge everyone to do the same thing, it all went pretty smoothly.

Web Chat was totally unhelpful.  Rep even implied that GameStop hacked PSN for CE codes and printed them on the cards that EA put in the game package.

Thank you for contacting Origin Help Center. A transcript of your recent chat with one of our representatives is available below.

info: You are now ready to chat with Varun.
you: Hello
Varun: Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Varun how may I help you?
you: I am having an issue with my PS***** copy of Mass Effect ***** N***** CE not registering properly on thesocial.bioware.com website
you: I was able to redeem the CE download pack and From Ashes DLC with no problems from PSN but when I log into the bioware site to check my registered game content only the From Ashes DLC and Reckoning DLC shows. Not my Online Pass or CE DLC content.
Varun: Please let me know your concern exactly.
you: As such I cannot access the download for the soundtrack
Varun: Please give me some time to check it.
you: ok
Varun: Have you registered the game on social.bioware.com?
you: I have. I even unregistered and played until I had full access to the Normandy and put the N***** hoodie on Shepard and saved then reregistered to see if it would finally recognize I have the CE.
you: It recognizes I own Mass Effect ***** but not the N***** CE which is what I have
Varun: May I know the game DLC code?
you: GAKJ-C*****NN-*****DE***** thats the one for my Online Pass and CE exclusive content
Varun: Please allow me some time to check it.
you: ok
Varun: May I know from where have you purchased this code/
Varun: ?
you: It came in the case of my Mass Effect ***** N***** Collectors Edition
Varun: May I know from where you have purchased this game?
you: The game was purchased at GameStop through preorder
you: code was on a card with the From Ashes DLC code underneath and an ad for Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning on the other side.
Varun: I would suggest you to contact Gamestop.
you: For a code that was provided by EA??
you: I have the Collectors Edition DLC on my PS*****, the code allowed me to download it. EA&#*****;s servers doesn&#*****;t recognize a code that they themselves provided as a collectors edition code but PSN does? Are you seriously suggesting GameStop hacked PSN?
Varun: If you need help with anything else, please feel free to contact us anytime!
you: The code wasn&#*****;t purchased its the one that came with the game. Where I bought it is really not relavent when it is a problem with EA game servers not recognizing it a N***** CE code.
Varun: I am afraid that we are not able to help in this case.
Varun: I would suggest you to contact Gamestop for further assistance.
you: Its not a GameStop issue, it is an EA/Bioware issue
Varun: I would suggest you to post your issue to the forum.
you: I would but they say to contact EA support
Varun: We are not able to track the purchase as you have given the code which is invalid.
you: How can it be invalid when it came on an EA stock insert and worked through PSN to give me the online access for multiplayer and the N***** Collectors Edition DLC content?
you: Or is it invalid because I have already used it?
Varun: I have checked the DLC content code which is showing invalid.
you: Then you obviously entered it wrong because it did indeed work and was valid when I download the content
Varun: I am afraid that we are not able to help you in this case.
you: I guess I will have to try again with someone who either a) is more knowledgable about this issue or B) is capable of validating a PS***** code.
Varun: If you need help with anything else, please feel free to contact us anytime!
Varun: Thank you for contacting EA. Is there anything else I can help you with today?

I am assuming Varun didn't put the code in correctly when trying to verify it.  Or he didn't realize it was a PS3 code.  Trying email now to see if I have better luck.  Included a photo of my DLC code card as well just incase they try telling me it is invalid once again.  As much as I love Bioware games this may be the last one I purchase all because EA wants to blame the retailer instead of just saying "our bad.  Its either a communication issue with PSN/Live or we didn't get all the codes entered into the server.  Give us a week and we'll have it fixed"
And no it doesn't have to be fixed in a week, but they do need to admit that their is an issue with the server recognizing the Collectors Edition as a Collectors Edition.

Changing my Origin ID didn't work, but contacting EA Help did. She wasn't very specific("I've taken care of a few things on my end. Your soundtrack should now be available."), but it got done.

I am getting so unbelievably pissed off with this, the soundtrack was one of the main reasons I wanted the CE! I sent an email to EA help a couple days ago without a response so far. I felt stupid when i realized I had only input the dlc code and not the online pass but even after doing that this website still doesnt recognize that I have CE. I wouldnt be so pissed if EA/Bioware would at least acknowledge this problem and reassure me that this wont end with being completely screwed. I believe this genuinely obligates me to illegally download the soundtrack. Still awaiting acknowledgment.

Woke up this afternoon to a response from Ankur. Had me change my default persona and then try again to download my soundtrack. It worked! Thanks again Ankur! It probably helped that I included a copy of my receipt and a pic of the code card. It also took two days but it is well worth it to be able to get the soundtrack.

Here is what I did and it seemed to work. After the initial registration of my pass and other content I played the game, both MP and SP, then came on here to notice nothing was found under the "Registered Game Content". After a few days, still nothing showed up.

So here is what I did and now everything shows up under "registered game content". I re-downloaded my N7 CE Online Pass and any other voucher codes I had. Then I played MP and SP for a while. Went to bed and sometime after waking up I rechecked under the said listing and now ALL of my DLC for ME3 shows up under the "Registered Game Content". It even shows that my Online Pass as the N7 CE code.

If all you want is the Soundtrack and not everything to show, just contact customer support via live chat, they will fix it for you.

Screw this. I'm going to download a torrent for the file.

You see what you've done, BioWare?. You've made a criminal of me.

I am now one with the most vile tyrants that ever walked this earth.

Gaius Caligula writhes on his grave for I AM A PIRATE!.
