I got an email from both miranda and thane telling me that they would be on the citadel. I went there and there was a ceberus attack on the citadel. I finished that but when i went to go look for miranda and thane they are not where they say they will be. Is there any known fix for this?

Did you go right after you received the e-mails or did you do a few missions first? The same thing has happened to me. I got their e-mails but I did the Krogan/Turian missions first. Then I went to the Citadel and ran into Cerberus. Even though both showed up on the map at first, when I went to their locations they'd disappeared.

Uh oh. I was going to do another PT to try to avoid Thane until after the attacks, but if he's gone, then that's no good.

You can return to the citadel once you remove cerberus from there... but there will be a death

I had just finished the mission for the Krogan, so I was mourning my favorite Salarian, Mordin. SooooMuuuuuchSaaaad.

So I finally head to the Citadel and save it from Cerberus... only to have my second favorite Salarian, Capt. Kirrahe, appear out of nowhere to take the fatal blow for the Salarian Council member. EVEN MORE SAD. SAD SAD SAD!

Comment from husband behind me: "Wow, those guys just don't live very long, do they?" Almost all favorite Salarians dead. ;_; Next mission I do, it's probably the Salarian Gamer nerd who offs it.

I heard that Thane will take the fatal blow for the Salarian diplomat, though, if you find him.

Really? ? So much annoying... Remove Thane Miranda (and even the doctor from ME2) from the game like that. There is no way to recover them?? (without starting over..........)
