This should be a quickie:
I get the color coding for the various forms of damage which exist in the game. However, what escapes me is how I determine what kind of damage type an enemy is using against me if party damage indication is always red. Is there some trick I'm missing?
Sure, some effects are relatively self evident like fire or ice (and perhaps electricity). Nature and spirit are a little more difficult for me to conceptualize..

Well, enemy attacks are the same as your attacks, you have to kind of guess by looking at what abilities they are using. Almost everything does physical damage, special attacks like a giant fireball are fairly obvious

True, I gathered things like fireballs and ice shards would make it kind of obvious. It's the spirit and nature damage which confuses me. How is that depicted?

depending on your settings it should show what they cast & after a playthrough u can pretty much identify 85% of what they use. Its not like it is something you NEED to know. lol. You can just base your tactics on the enemy type, most enemy strengths & weaknesses are obvious but I understand some ppl want to know all the little details. lol

Usually nature crap is green coloured, and spirit crap is blueish white.

Oh, just to be info complete, I'm asking mainly because I have all these balms sitting in my inventory that I've never used but am hesitant to sell. They seem kind of useless, but even more so if I can't identity when to use them.
Thanks Sloth..
