I ask because for some reason I can never find her when I go to talk to her.  She's never in her room, or anywhere else on the ship. so do I have a glitch or what? I can select her for missions but she since I sarted the Quarian/geth Missions she vanished.

Yeah, sounds like a glitch. Squad members should always be found at their stations on the Normandy. Ashley's is down on the lowest level by the Mako and the squad lockers. No idea what's triggered that.
