It was posted a while back ago, but that's perfectly fine as it reminded me of the hotness that is contained on that page and in the game. Mmmmm Alleykatze
I'm gonna have to say that the artists responsible for Leliana didn't even come close to making her look like that Alleykatze chick. Holy mother of sweet breakfast meats... that chick is on fire.
I'm kind of disappointed. Morrigan actually looks like her model. She has life, so to speak. Leliana looks like just another uninspired, bland video game NPC, which couldn't be further away from her real life "inspiration", model, or whatever you call that goddess from Maxim.

HOWEVER, remember that it's not that easy to give these characters the same sense of life that they have in real life.
Also, don't you know some "mediocre looking women" in real-life who got really hot after you've got to know them, because their personality is so charming? I hope it's going to be the same for the game.

Urban legend to make ugly girls feel better.

I don't think so, but I think its not so much mediocore looking girls as above average girls.

Have you played Metal Geat Solid 4? All the beauty and beast corps based on real woman, and all of them look exactly like there conterparts.
Granted I know you didn't say it wasn't impossible to pull off, I just always think of that game when it comes to making real life models into video game models... it did a great job in my opinion.

I'm wondering if he just inadvertantly called his gamer girlfriend "mediocre-looking." If she supposedly plays his Bio games with him, I hope she doesn't surf the forums with him, too.

Leliana looks uncannily like Kate Beckinsale to me.
So that's good.
I thought the same thing about the model who the character is based off of, but the in-game character model doesn't have that ageless beauty that Kate Beckinsale has.
I also haven't seen the character model in motion. I really hope that there are some expressive facial animations.
I wish I had my copy in my hands all ready. This is killing me. Amazon still hasn't shipped my copy. I hope I can score a CE from Wal Mart tonight or Best Buy in the morning.
If not I won't get my Amazon CE until the 5th.

Did you see the sacred ashes trailer? They looked very much alike. Alleykatz was not the model for in game Leliana, but the trailer.
