Loved the series from ME1, Played it sooo many times. Loved Me2 played it though even more than 1, but thats where it ends for my shepard. I played 3, just finshed it in fact, even took a weeks vacation from work to enjoy it. For the most part pretty cool, but the endings??? C'mon. This is what we get? First if I want the "HAPPY" ending gotta go find every piece of junk and do every side quest oh yeah ignoring that every minute people are dying back on earth. ORRRR I can go play some multi player to get my READINESS above 50% I have over 6000 war assets but oh they're only worth 1/2....TYVM Whatever.
On top of that The HAPPY? ending isnt all that happy. Frankly if my shep cant be with my LI then id rather him dead. But heres my biggest problem with the endings.
WHAT WAS THE NORMANDY DOING IN FTL???? Joker said were going to rejoin sword force. Hey guess what sword force was fighting the reapers. SOOOO normandy shouldnt have been in FTL.
So over all the game is good for 1 playthrough, but for me ME2 ends the story of my shepard. Me and tali just cruising in the normandy making preperations for the reapers.
Gotta admit bioware. I love your games but you dropped the ball on the endings.:crying:

I will agree with you on that one. Rather than saying my Shep stops at ME2 I just replace the endings with my own pretend endings. In my mind the fleets I gathered were tearing the reapers a new one but still need the crucible to help so shep charges in with all the ground forces and makes it to the citadel there he and the ground forces find an immense reapers population but not all is lost as the citadel local militia and c sec are there. The fight giving shep enough time to open the arms and fire the weapon. turns out it fries the organis material inside the reapers making them vulnerable causing the fleets to gain the upper hand and defeat the reapers but with heavy losses. Didn't come up with an ending for the illusive man so ill just say he fell down a hole or something :P

+1. To me, the game ends with Shepard stumbling into the beam thing, ending on a cliffhanger.

Shep executed him? Like, a really satisfying kill? Catch him unaware, kick his knees out from under him, then shoot him in the spine, right where his neck meets his body.

yeah I'm just making it the Blue ending, everyone lives, but Shep lives and the Normandy crew is only a few systems away. Easy to get picked up once they fix Normandy's communications. Shep lived only because she held on long enough to give the Reapers one command...fly into the sun.

I would keep most of ME3, up until the ending actually. THE VERY ENDING.

Take out that crap with the little freaking kid coming back as the almighty hologram of absolution. I would instead have Harbinger come talk to Shepard about what the Reapers really are. Also, that if he destroys the Reapers he'll also destroy the Mass Relays. He'll have 2 options.

Take Control: He controls the Reapers and forces them to stop the cycle. The Mass Relay's are spared and Galactic Civilization can continue. If this happens Shepard's body dies, and the Reapers are allowed to survive. Game ends with Shepard being celebrated as a Hero, and Sol now the center of Galactic Civilization (since they have no idea how to move the Citadel).

Destroy Reapers: All Reaper technology is destroyed, Geth and Edi are spared (cuz that part was stupid). Shepard lives, but the Mass Relays are destroyed. The survivors on Earth and the Fleet recolonize Earth and begin rebuilding a new society where all the species live together. Shepard gets to live out his life on Earth with his love interest. Game ends with the Construction of a new Mass Relay that will take a lifetime to recreate.

Because they needed to be a safe distance away once the crucible was about to blow.

Joker didn't want to go but Hackett ordered him to and then he was forced too by his squadmates.
