[Jag Blade]

Basically I was doing another playthrough of Mass Effect to avoid the Ashley romance so Shepard could be with Tali guilt free for Mass Effect 3. After discovering that I triggered the romance anyway by not being a complete jackass to her I decided it would just be easier to go and edit my already completed Mass Effect 2 save rather than replay the game AGAIN to get it right.

Now, I've corrected the romance flags for ME1 in my ME2 save file but that's where my questions comes in... The save editter I use says no changes will take effect until loaded as a new game. Does this mean I have to load it in ME2 and play through it again for the changes to take effect or can I just import it into ME3 with my changes?
