I currently have over 6000 war assets but I havn't touched the multiplayer, can i still get the best ending with maxed war assets and no multiplayer?

no, at 50% multiplier you would need at least 8000 plus some Rep Checks or 10000 to ignore the rep checks

So basically you need the multiplier to go up with multiplayer to get the best endings.

The trigger is 4000 - 5000 after the multiplier.

Yeah Bioware lied to us al when they said it was a single player game. I have absolutely no interest in a multiplayer shooter and yet I am cheated out of $70 by a game that pretended to be single player.

It's impossible to get in single player it seems. I've imported a very good save, completed all fetch quests, scanned every system, done some serious metagaming with main quests  - and it was still not enough to get even 4000. May  require game guide for this <_<
