Ok so, the consensus seems to be that the endings themselves are great, though personally unsatisfying as far as knowing the fate of your friends. So here's a suggestion for bioware: a DLC motion comic ala the one they gave us for ME2, so we diddnt have to play through ME1. Except where the 1st motion comic was all about recapping for those who diddnt play the first (or making it easier to make different choices from the 1st game), this one will be like final notes on the trilogy. Not only would it explain the fate of all of our friends, telling us if they survived, how they changed, how they lived, but if we survived at the end it could actually give closure beyond just the final piece of the puzzle. Plus it would be an excellent way to give us a hint as to where the next trilogy (which they hinted at previously) would go, if it would take place across galaxies (keep in mind all this took plays in one galaxy... and there are MILLIONS) where newcomers from another galaxy stumble apon this one where everyone is synthetic/organic hybrids.
the game had excellent endings, just needs some closure as far as the characters we've come to know and love are concerned.
So a suggestion

Pretty sure the consensus was that the endings were passable, if even that, and taht the lack of closure for characters were just adding insult to injury.

I feel the endings are a failure to the series but I dismiss them and just invent my own endings. to keep satisfied
