The one you have to watch is Kaiden if he is still alive. I was treating him no differently to how I had always done but because I was caring, took him a bottle in hospital and was generally being a nice guy and a good friend, suddenly he opens up and declares his love for me - now that was awkward.
Really? And you never did any obvious romance dialogue?
That's strange. In the only ME playthrough that I really pulled through until the end yet, Ashley was the VS. I never encountered any romance dialogue in ME3 unless I practically asked for it. I would find it strange if Kaidan was different.
Kaidan has some flirty dialogue before the date if Shep's nice to him (in the hospital and after Jacob's mission if s/he's not already in a romance). I've read complaints of people whose Sheps were loyal to Liara in all 3 and never showing any interest in Kaidan getting hit on in the lunch. *shrugs* He drops it if you turn him down, no biggie. Alternatively, you can save his lunch until after Shep locks a romance with someone else.

It was like it was harping back to a time when you can't just be nice to people without them getting the wrong idea, something which was made fun of in ME2 with Mordin's suspicions about why Shepard keeps coming round to chat to him.

If Shepard chose Allers over Liara...then he'd just need a kick in the face and to be fed to a Reaper.
How could you trust someone to save the galaxy when he's poking Allers instead of Liara...it's just...it's madness...
Liara is an alien who literally ****s your mind.
Call me crazy but I think most men would rather be with an actual woman. I doubt Liara even has anything down there that's compatible with human gentials.

That works best, you have a nice friendly lunch with him and call him your brother, no awkward questions if you save lunch till after you lock in. It still bugs me that Liara friendzones you even after you've been loyal in all three games, even after she asked you if you are still serious after Mars and I still have to tell her she's the one again on the Presidium. Baby, you've been the only one since we've met! How many times do I have to tell you! I get that the game is just letting you change your mind if you want, but maybe it didn't need to be framed by Liara acting so insecure.

I still don't understand why so many people call Kaidan "Kaiden".
I am starting to think it they are doing it on purpose. Just to anger people who can actually read.

Agreed. If you're getting hit on by Special K, you're not locked into another romance yet.
As for Liara friendzoning you, in spite of Mars etc, I seem to recall the developers admitting that, just as with Thane, this was just a dumb oversight on their part. Mainly, they'd have done it differently if they had it to do over.

^ Perhaps but a male can't fornicate with your neck. At least not in a pleasant way.
Now imagine an alien unlike you with genitals unlike yours fornicating with your neck.
well i'm pretty sure that asari give birth to their young, so they'll have a birth canal won't they?
Sure but I doubt it's pleasurable to use for any purpos. Why would it be?
