Of course this little sequence couldn't have existed and had the same impact without the other games.

Garrus and Shepard. Bro's til the end.

If this forum had a rep system, I'd be giving you a +1 right now.

Seriously wanted bromance options for Wrex and Grunt too. Garrus was a good one, though.

Yea, that was definitely the best 'bro' moment in the game. The content of their discussion was incredibly bittersweet where they talk about life after fighting, as by that time you sort of knew things weren't going to end well on a personal level, as you realized by that point in the game that Bioware seemed to be making up for making ME 2 so 'happy'.

I wonder what changed in the scene if you had missed your shot on purpose. I figured I respected Garrus too much to do that.

I consider the squadmates Shepard's family, especially the ones from ME1. Wrex at one point calls Shepard his brother, which I thought was really cool, and then they do their little handshake. And the stuff with Garrus is just awesome as well.

It made Garrus very happy for a while. He declared, "I am Garrus Vakarian, and this is my favorite place on the citadel." He and Shep banter some more, and it was really bittersweet.

Best moment was Grunt taking on all those ravagers alone and coming out alive covered in entrails.

That was my fav so far too. Romance though since I am playing a FemShep. :D

I just met up with Kaidan right before too and he tried to get back with my FemShep during lunch at some cheesy cafe in the markets, I turned him down... and was confused... I mean wth, didn't I break up with him at least 3 times now? lol

Then flash to Garrus being all badass and flying to the top of the Citadel for a little target practice and nookie. Damn, Kaidan never really stood a chance, hahahahaha. Image IPB

I missed it. It's a girl thing. Image IPB Plus, Garrus's reaction was the cherry on the cake, haha.

I missed it because I figured, if I'm might have to send him to his death, he might as well be happy now.

The game is chock full of little stuff like this that only really has an impact if you played ME1 and ME2. I am pretty impressed.

Loved all the Jack stuff and her transformation.

Joker and Edi's relationship, constant source of humor.

Awesome hand shake with Wrex before you attack the shroud

Grunt's last fight....then him actually surviving

Mordin's death

Thane's death (please stop cutting the onions)

Liara's time capsule

Not even done the game yet

Oh, and crew members constantly moving around the ship and the citadel = pure genius

Liara's time capsule almost made me cry. Everything just felt so hopeless and depressing at that point and seeing her do that, thinking way back to my first meeting with her...sigh.  Just thinking about how after all we've been through...we may just become another notch on the reapers checklist...

Also, after leaving thessia, the way the asari councilor was just so broken up about it. She didn't want to believe it was really happening. Then she cut the conversation short. I could understand how she felt because we had felt our last hope had just been ripped out from under us too.

Also, walking in on Garrus and Tali uh...embracing right before the final fight.  That surprised me...and was funny.

If only the ending were better.

Liara's time capsule... I needed a tissue. OMG, it was so horrible, it just felt so final. At that point, I wanted my Shep to just... I don't know. When I got to the end, I thought back on that moment and I wondered if the stories the grandfather was telling his grandson was stuff that had been found on one of her capsules - I guess it was good they got something out of it, since it was obvious they couldn't use it to recreate space travel or rebuild galactic civilization - but that's for another topic :D

I won't lie. Although I have read spoilers about the ending and such, especially after the Garrus/Shep bro-competition, I kept feeling like it's a goodbye that's coming even closer. Like that feeling that it'll go and you'll never get it back.

Yeah, it's a game and we'll be able to replay it, but it's the first time that counts more and BW at least has catered to most fans with heroic fights/deaths/sacrifices from ME2 characters, seeing how they evolved from ME2 and camaraderie from your squadmates on the Normandy when they talk with each other or taking friendly jabs at one another.

It has its problems, it has its bugs and some "But why?" moments, but it still sucks me in. And I feel bad that it's getting closer to the end (I'm right after Rannoch).

And then I dread the endings...

Edit: As for a favorite part... There's many. But yeah, that one with Garrus was nice, since I let him win and he was really happy and I liked the "We'll call you when the bottles revolt." (or something like that) line from Shepard. Image IPB

Mordin's death scene. Rather than live his remaining years in self-loathing over what he had done with his life, he was able to redeem himself. Going out cheerfully as always in song...and then the perfect queue of the vigil theme to truly make you feel as though the Krogan's millenium long struggle has truly ended..

Scene literally brought me to tears. Manly tears.

Tuchanka, especially Urdnok Bakara, although I will not play thru again , having destroyed Malin's data. That was just too much. Excellent writing, touching outcome.
