It made Garrus very happy for a while. He declared, "I am Garrus Vakarian, and this is my favorite place on the citadel." He and Shep banter some more, and it was really bittersweet.

I missed it. It's a girl thing.  Plus, Garrus's reaction was the cherry on the cake, haha.

I missed it because I figured, if I'm might have to send him to his death, he might as well be happy now.

I'm female and I did not romance him in most games, but i also let him win because I might be sending him to his death and he's my friend.  Both male and female Shepard let him win.  The "girl thing" makes me want to never let him win again.     This is definitely one of my favorite moments.

I only let Garrus win if Shepard is not an infiltrator...otherwise he wins all the time since I figure, in character, my shep would not be as good with sniper rifles as Garrus.
