I would have to say Mordin's death hit me pretty hard. The only other sad scene for me was breaking up with Miri and then watching her die in my arms later on.

The realization that I told Dr Chawkwas to save her Ice Brandy for after the victory. What a waste.

Saying my goodbyes to my old crew with the communicator thing on Earth... oh man. Mordin, Thane, and Legion's deaths were also tough as hell.

This didn't turn out to be the saddest, though when I saw it, I thought it was pretty sad: Grunt going after the Reaper Rachni because I was going to free the queen (again), then stumbling out of the cave, covered in blood and slumping over into Shepard's arms.

For a moment there, I really thought he was going to buy the farm. But he really didn't need luck; he had ammo.

It didn't happen to me in my game, but I saw Tali's suicide on youtube. I could never bring myself to do that :o

I know, I was like "did I just make a huge mistake by saving her? No grunt don't dieeee....oh you're alive....awkward :/"

I agree, breaking up with Miranda (choosing liara over her) was VERY sad. I felt SO bad for it. :( I got a little teary eye I'll admit.

The scene with the female krogan on Tuchanka with wrex and Wreav as well.
Mordins death didn't hit me that hard actually, maybe it was because I knew about it already.
Talis death was sad, and so was Anderson's. Felt so bad for him especially since he wanted to get with kahlee.

Now you know what I forgot about that one. That one got me teary as well. I thought he was dead, and then when he came back it was tears of joy. ;)

"All those little blue babies aren't gonna like that I didn't have a better speech prepared."

"We'll make something up for them."

I swear to god I nearly started bawling tears right there since I knew we never would.

Actually wouldn't have been as bad if Grunt had just died; the fact he came crawling back was what made it heartbreaking.

On a side note, for a species that threatened to wipe out the galaxy twice, once with the Protheans and once with the current cycle, the Rachni sure contributed practically nothing to the war effort. I mean, they can traverse space, reproduce with extreme speed and act as shock troops... and all they do is help you build the Crucible?! I rescued the Rachni Queen because I thought I was going to get another army to fight the Reapers with.

Mordin's death was a big one. It made me realize that Bioware wasn't afraid to off people (the billions of nameless NPCs obviously don't count ).

Talking with Garrus ontop the Presidium was another. That discussion about what's left after all the fighting was very poginant when you realize fighting is all Shepard really knows.

That last bedtime discussion with Samantha was really sad as well, as they talk about a white picket fence, two kids, and a dog. As soon as that discussion happened, after everything else you'd been through up to that point, it suddenly became very real that Bioware wasn't likely going to have a personally 'happy' ending for Shepard. Up to then, I was always wondering how it was all going to end. After that talk, it changed to...what heroic sacrifice am I going to make? Because that type of talk is always forshadowing for **** is going to hit the fan. :P

I didn't have a Tali suicide, but will try to drive her to it in my current (second) playthrough. I imagine it'll be quite sad.

I was almost an emotional wreck over the Mars incident when Vega landed his shuttle between you and Ashley/Liara. That instantly caused the death flags to rise, and when Eva came out and asked the Illusive Man what his orders were in regards to Ash, and the Illusive Man said to finish her, I was like, "Omg, Bioware, you aren't about to do what I think you're going to do!" I say almost, because Bioware seems to have lost their cajones, and didn't actually kill her. Killing her (or Kaiden) at that moment would have been a huge hit to the gut. I'm actually disappointed they didn't, as it robbed me of prime emotional discomfort. Is that wrong of me? :D

The fact that Shepard says "I love you" to Garrus and he never says it back, and Shepard lost him.

I had to walk away from my computer at that point.

Talks about adopting kids and retiring some place warm and he can't even tell Shepard he loves her.

Heart is broken, Bioware. Not cool =(

Talking to Liara on Earth before the final push (as my LI). So bittersweet that they finally had each other, but facing certain death in order to save the galaxy.

The talk with Anderson at the Citadel after you put down TIM. Felt like Shepard lost her father.

When i heard the song in ME2 I couldnt stop laughing, when i heard it in ME3 i almost wanted to cry, my salarian friend giving himself up for the sake of the krogan. and to think the dalantrass had the nerve to try to make me betray him

I never really felt too close to anderson, but i get what you mean
