Just wondering. I completely filled the EMS Bar and had some 40 hours under my belt, but Shepard still died at the end (did the destroy ending. The other two seemed to imply certain death). Do I have to do something special? Or can he not live unless you play again?

You have to be literally maxed out.. i hear its around 5000 EMS. Or 4000 EMS if you save anderson

how do you save anderson? i was at 7200 ems and 100% ready i lived when i killed the reapers i think you know dlc will show shepard living XD but how do you save anderson

You can only stop TIM from executing him. He still dies, you just have a heart-to-heart with him before hand.

I scanned the ever loving out of the galaxy map till atleast most of them were 80 or 100% explored and my shepard is a paragon with many friends   oh if you play muliplayer that also affects your game.

yea that helped big time with the geth and tali,also scanned every system i could and did all the side missions lol

Is this legit? Because I get a ending of the sort... I arrived, Shoot Anderson, Talk to timmy, kill timmy, then conversation with Anderson with the "I am proud of you" last line, three options available and then achieved synergy.

And I only get 4000+ TMS and 2944 EMS (No MP).... So I got a good ending? or I'm just a little bit confused?

I was actually worried that I didn't do the right choices to the ending... but now I realized, I've actually achieved the almost perfect ending (C'mon the ultimate evolution it's the REAL PARAGON OR RENEGADE ending.)

He's alive. Otherwise what's the point of the breath scene? Bioware just want you to speculate...

to accept that you have to switch toyr brain off and ignore ANYTHING but author intention. That's ok...but the authors are the ones saying that could be his last breath....


 
Once more...headcanon is only one step removed from delusion. If the meaning of the scene is that he is alive and that is what the author wanted they would have added a reunion scene or simply given us word of god...hint hint...they did not and even Tully A has stopped advocating ot
