Like the title says. Do squadmates benefits from ammo capacity? I know they don't run out of ammo but will they spend less time reloading? Also ammo powers such as Incendiary ammo for Vega should I take ammo capacity? Considering I make him use the shotgun I feel it would be better he got more shots out of that instead of headshot damage since well he doesn't shoot at heads.

Well, I think you're right in that it reduces how often they have to reload. That said, I didn't find my squad mates' normal fire to be all that helpful, and I'd bet it made up a tiny fraction of the total damage we did throughout the game. From my perspective, squadmates' use comes from two things:
1) Directing their power use effectively. ie: Liara's Warp on your Singularity as you use Throw.
2) Using them as 'tanks' to divert aggro from yourself (especially effective if you play an Infiltrator).
So....yea, that particular choice you have to make is almost pointless, since you pointed out that he doesn't do headshots, and it's not like you can direct him to, so that really only leaves one choice anyways, and it won't make much practical difference, so I'd only get it if you actually want to max out that skill.

Other than drawing enemy fire and the occasional power, I found the squadies to be fairly useless. I probably killed about 95% of everything we fought.
