So I said YES to Miranda hoping I could still pursue others, Ashley and Liara(My 2 favorites in ME), but then I got back from Chachanka and talked to Liara and it only gave me an option of "Friends like you" 

So. . . would there otherwise be another option to flirt up and rehash my ME1 relationship with her in this dialog if I had not said YES to Amanda?

haha don't know what I got Amanda from. Just wrote it out that way, but yes. Editing 1st post.

"Amanda" is how those of us who can't decide between Miranda or Ashley refer to our LI.

I'm also curious about this. Although I love Miranda's character, I thought it would be more "canon" to go with Ashley.. seeing as how I expected to spend most of ME3 with her, since she's a squad mate; however, after seeing Miranda's break up scene... I felt SO. BAD. So, I said yes to her too.

Now, I'm not sure if it locked Ashley out... but whatever. Ashley can be romanced on a new ME3 game, while Miranda can only work through ME2... so, my logic is, Miranda = more time invested.

Also, in terms of Ashley, I have *heard* that your romance chances are better if you buy her the Tennyson book when visiting her at the hospital. The way that you know Ashley is locked in is through an invitation to meet up at a cafe in the Citadel, where you decide to commit to each other.

Thanks Muppets. I plan to play through 4 times regardless, so I'll get plenty of my romance options figured out. Seems from what I can tell that it may have locked out others. Liara, and Ashley both won't even engage in conversation with me. They just give one-liners. But Yvonne Strahovski. . . are you kidding me?! So gorgeous! I just hope the devotion leads to a "payoff" before I finish the game! Even heroes of the universe need to get some, right?!

I believe it does, although more tame that ME2's scene! Nothing beats the Engine Room, right?

It's really unfortunate that she can't be in your squad. Did you see the rejection scene? I haven't seen any others, but I'm willing to bet Miranda's is the most painful to watch.

No I didn't bother to watch it.

HOWEVER _ _ _ I was just able to approach Liara and tell her I'm interested. So this answers my original question. Only thing is that later I will need to let one of them down.

Yep, engine room was HOT! Yvonne's likeness was the best captured in pretty much any game I ever played from an actual person. Speaking female here.

Other than that stupid Chuck show, she's a pretty HOT sexy goddess.

ALSO_ _ _ If I said yes to Liara, I was NOT able to "get some" with Miranda in her apartment at the Commons in Citadel.

Didn't make a difference whether I trusted her with clearance or not. I didn't try doing Miranda and THEN going back to Liara though to see if that was possible. Doubt it.
