Its pretty clear Bioware has left a lot of people feeling burned and while I'm OK with the endings whether or not I buy any additional Bioware games depends on how they respond to all this. If they just ignore it than probably not.
How people many will not be purchasing another Bioware game? Based off the endings...

@ Paparob: I agree with you on this. BW's response to an overwhelmingly large part of their fan population is important. While I personally am alright with the endings, a vast majority of my community is not. And have been particularly vociferous on the matter.
It now becomes highly important to see BW's response. I've heard a rumour on several threads that BW is scheduled to make a statement once 'more people have played the game', either via interview or panel, but I don't know when that is going to happen. Eyes peeled, waiting.

The Jury is still out for me as well. Bioware has yet to respond to the fans. My future as a customer of their products depends entirely on how they handle the horrendous ending to Mass Effect. If they botch it or ignore the fan's requests, I will cease to support Bioware completely (ie unsubscribe from SWTOR, delete all Bioware accounts, and give away my games--no point in playing Mass Effect again with those endings).

I will be more cautious in the future...DEPENDING on DLC, and when they finally come forward and address the feedback

After playing Dragon Age 2, SW:TOR, and this, I'll definitely be staying away from Bioware.

I actually discontinued SWTOR over this. Yeah unless this gets resolved I won't preorder anymore. I'm willing to let the next game come out then once it is out and I hear if its ok i'll think about buying it.

I thought that the endings couldn't get more depressing after Dragon Age 2. Bioware proved me wrong. I'll have to think about it. I really wanted to save the day and walk off into the starset with Kaiden...didn't happen in my playrhrough.

I won't be preordering anymore, if that's what you mean. I'm willing to give them more chances, as I don't think a few bad games immediately negate all the magic I felt playing their older titles, but from now on I'm waiting to see reviews from people I trust before ponying up the money. Which is sad, since until the last act this game was well on it's way to convincing me that Bioware still had it.

After Dragon Age 2 had such a horrid finish, and SWTOR was so mediocre (just my opinion) I thought surely, SURELY, Mass Effect would still end well, I loved the first two! ... Yeah, I don't plan to buy anymore BioWare games. If the PLAYER reviews are really good a couple weeks after a launch then I may pick one up, but I will not be preordering anymore.

Yeah, feel a bit torn myself. Bioware is easily my favorite game studio. I was certainly thinking "wtf is everyone's problem? ME3 is awesome!" -- that is, until I hit the ending. Which is odd that a 30+ hour experience is nearly ruined over the end. I wish it wern't so, but it is.
I'd just like to see a blog post, or a forum post, going over the writer's perception of each of the three major endings. What state the galaxy is left in, whether or not the Normandy is stranded, if FTL is still possible, is Earth viable, and so on. Details aren't necessary, just plug up the holes, and remove the cloud of misinformation and misinterpretation. Like I'm fairly certain we didn't just blow up all of the most populated systems with the mass effect relays, I'd like to hear for certain whether or not that's the case.
Still, if done, it can't even go near the line "we kept it vague to let the players choose." Better to just stay silent if that's the honest truth, I think. Just look at the player reaction to a vague ending to judge whether or not that's a good idea.
Dunno, to use an old RPG mechanic, Bioware's reputation with me has taken a huge hit. I think some of the vitriol has gone a bit overboard, for sure, and I don't agree with that. But I can't deny my own feeling that it was a pretty enormous, game-shattering, mistake for me.
But, like you, I'm waiting to see what happens. Could go either way.

Ya I'm for the idea of not buying from them any more. They ruined in a few minutes what was the best game series I ever played. Unless they can some how turn it around with DLC.

I have no idea. I love mass effect 3 and all the story. I love that I can still save most of the people I care about if I work hard enough and when the people do die it is well worth it, and even then sometimes they are not truly dead.
However all of this, all this work and dedication means nothing in the end. The people you care about are stranded, and the alliances you worked so hard to make don't even matter people they wont see each other anymore. And the ones that will due to being stuck on other planets for the war will probably end bad because of incapability for food. It is not just the normandy, it is the krogans on paleven and many more.

I will not pre-order any more Bioware games that's for sure. For ME series, it will depend on how Bioware respond to the urgent disappointment of the fans, in words and in actions both. I hope whatever writing team in-fight Bioware got into can be resolved in front of the vast ending-fixing request from fans, just like the galaxy unite in front of reapers.

Mass Effect 3 was great.
I had bought and played plenty of games that had horrific endings.
Half Life 2
Fallout 3
Bioshock
Oblivion/Skyrim (The environment was pretty though)
I can go on.
If anything, this is a strangely different rage from the the rage against DA2.
This is not a mechanic issue like what DA2 was (although the story wasn't great either). It seems more like rage based on the simple fact we didn't have a happy ending.
I want clarification. I want Mac Walters to discuss with us on the forum. I really want some more understanding between the decision made and the fans reaction.
Please make it happen, Priestly.
Other than that, I applaud Bioware for the trilogy.

I too am done pre-ordering. In the future I will only buy the games when they go on sale for 5 bucks or so as that is all they are worth with endings as pathetic as these.

It's not just because of ME3. I once considered Bioware to be the quality game developer that always produced games that I'd want to play. So I've pretty much blindly bought up until now.
Dragon Age 2, SWTOR, and the experience breaking ending of ME3 have all little by little got me to a point where I no longer will buy Bioware products without a second thought. No more pre-ordering. They'll really have to provide a good game before I'm spending any on it.

ME3 was an amazing game in almost every aspect except for the endings for me. It improved on what ME and ME2 started and reduced the clutter dialogue choices that were present in the first two titles and focused on more pertinent points in the dialogue. The game would have been perfect for me if they wouldn't have dropped the ball on the endings.

Eh, I am sad to say this but... yes I will not buy any further BioWare games, the endings of Mass Effect 3 were god awful but they are not the only reason, between this and Dragon Age 2 I guess its time to head back to Skyrim.

Yup. Bioware is now with the rest of the developers out there: I wait for the reviews and recs from people I trust.

Not buying anymore Bioware games. I may still get their games through other means but I am no longer going to support BW with my money.
