Attican Traverse: Rachni

I tried mixing up the crew members involved, but ended up with the same problem each time. Has anyone had similar problems and any luck fixing it? For what it's worth, I'm playing an imported character who saved the rachni queen in ME1. Thank you.

Second, and odds are this isn't much of an issue nowadays with the Intel processors, but there is still a very small chance your problem could be you are on a Mac. As I said, I don't THINK this is your problem, but it still bears mentioning for the small chance of it.
Oh and also might check your Nvidia settings. Maybe drop each thing down to it's minimum settings and try it... if it works then one by one move things up level by level and try the game again until the problem returns. Will take awhile, but if it works it will tell you where your problems are.

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm not totally sure how to access the Nvidia settings. I went to the control panels, and opened up the Nvidia portion, but did not see anything adjustable. Is there a particular tab I need to use? I tried researching online, but had some trouble getting a clear answer; one of those things I should probably already know, I suppose. Thank you.
Ah NP and not exactly ignorance, it's one of those things they assume people know but not as many do as they think. Down on the right of your taskbar where you have various icons of programs running in the background you should have a green Nvidia logo. Thats your Nvidia settings. There's lots of stuff you probably won't have any idea what it is... but the only real danger is in setting things too high. Too low will just steamroll your graphics, then you can slowly move stuff back up as you go. There is also a `15 second timer on any option that could totally fubar Windows itself so that if you do like lose all ability to see Windows, after 15 seconds of you not responding it will rever the setting.

Ok, so do any of you with this problem have a Shepard imported from Mass Effect 1 into 2 then into 3? It might be that problem it happened with the From Ashes DLC for a lot of people, could be a similar issue.

This time I imported a renegade character who killed the queen, but the intro cutscene still bugged.
