I did, however, spend a whole lot of the time she was 'on camera' thinking "Wouldnt this have been a perfect thing for Emily Wong? Shes a reporter and my Shepard already has a history with her" (Yes, I know I read the article featuring Emily Wong but still)

Maybe because it IS a nearly perfect game.
Lol, no. As someone who really likes ME3 and prefers it over ME2 and ME1 I have to disagree.
To each his own. The general consensus from big-name reviewers, (IGN, Game Informer, etc) is that it's a pretty damn good game, and I agree.
No need to be a mouthpiece using other people's opinions to back yours.
The people of this forum are an outspoken minority that doesn't respresent the majority in anyway. Statistically, Mass Effect 3 will be unfinished by a vast amount of people who play it. Financially, this game will make no where near as much money as the vaulted CoD this developer wants so many fans from. Historically the game's story isn't unique nor is it groundbreaking in any particular way.
You don't represent the majority.
Nor do I.
Nor do game journalists.
The internet will be a better place when people realize that 75% of the public are lurkers and the only way to judge if this game is a succuss is to measure the sales after the first three months (because ME3 doesn't having a modding scene pc sales will drop fast. Console sales do the same, especially after the first months when you can just get the game used, which costs developer's cash.) Also the hype for future ME titles will have to be witnessed as well, which their will be more even a ME4 is possible. This is EA after all.
Until then, don't use these tired arguements. State your opinion and don't try to gather false steam for it.
And if you have a problem with any of the facts I used in the first paragraph, look them up. They carry more weight then numerical scores given out by people paid to give an opinion.

What would IGN possibly benefit from paying EA to have her in the game? It isn't a commonly known fact, it wasn't advertised. Try again.
So she was in a couple of revier's videos, still not public knowledge. You could claim IGN was up to something if it said "Featuring IGN's own, Jessica Chobot!" or something on the box, but the general public still hasn't seen or heard about this. Again, what does IGN possibly gain from having her in the game? Try AGAIN?

A bucketloadsadosh?
It looks like a cheap bribe. What the public knows about EPIC FOR THE WIIIIIIN doesn't matter, as rigging IGN's reviews would be beneficial. Not only for ME-3, but possibly other EA titles.
The truth is we don't know. The real problem is that it looks bad when you think about it.

2 huge anoucments centering around her roll in Mass Effect 3, from 2 of the biggest gamming journalisim sites on the web, both of which she happens to she works for and both websites sent her to do an early preveiw of Mass Effect a mere couple days before offical announcement of her Roll in mass Effect 3.
So are you gonna just keep dodging my question and keep up the willful ignonorance?
I've answered all of yours, but you keep acting like you can't think for your self. We need alittle give and take here.

I absolutely this Diane Allers chick though. Terrible voice acting, terrible face, body, and clothes models, terrible character altogether.
At least she's only worth 5 points.

I really love her character, though. Smart of Bioware to point out that media is just as important in a war as anything else.

Oh, so I'M the one dodging questions? For the third time, what would IGN gain by having Jessica Chobot in the game, if the majority of people still have no idea who she is? I've already admitted that you were right about her being in some interviews, but that doesn't change facts, the general public has no idea who she is, or that she's in the game. Maybe she's just a lucky fan who got her wish.
P.S. You never really asked me any questions, you just attacked me with baseless rebuttles.

I believe I mentioned a "bucketloadsadosh".
Which is herrdy gerrdy for PILES OF GOLD-PLATED RAPTOR TEETH.
Or just, you know, currency.
What would they gain in the long run? Possibly a contract promising them cordyceps spores for each positive review of future EA titles?
That's not the point of my post, though. The point was that it looks bad.
It looks terrible.
Horrible and terrible and dumb. Are they actively promoting tin foil hats and hyperbole these days?
(Yes, that's irony. I think. I hope.)

IGN gains veiwers. This much should be plenty obvious, not to mention early preveiws. seeing as how IGN and G4 where the only ones to get this kind of access.
and what are you basing this logical of "the general public doesn't know" on, this thread? because 5 or 6 people in a thread doesn't count as the "general public", I'm pretty sure announcing her appearance in ME3 on two of the largest gaming news websites is a bid to make it aware to the general public. Wheater if it was sucessful or not it moot descusion.
yea I'm sure she's a lucky "fan" when she hasn't even played the frist two games...
