So the game was going great until I started getting side quests on the Citadel... Am I missing something obvious here, or is there like almost no direction on what to do for some of the side quests? One that I am thinking of is with the Hanar in the Embassy. You are told you need to find evidence but thats pretty much it. I checked the journal, and looked at the map and there is really no clear direction on what to look for or where to go. Now I actually completed this quest but it was at the cost of me just randomly searching all over the Citadel for those terminals (one located wayyyyy down at the end of the loading bay area). Normally i'm pretty good with this type of stuff because I play a lot of games, but it really seems like if you don't pay close attention to the dialog and think about it you would be totally lost on what to do and where to go (thinking about players with less experience than me). If you are close enough to the object you will get that waypoint on your screen, but that dosen't help when you don't even know where to begin looking. I understand the mission was to go "hunting" and having a direct waypoint to it might make it too easy, but I must say there has been multiple times the direction on how to complete some of this stuff has been pretty vague. Being someone who likes to finish the quests I have before I move on and get more it has been a struggle. I get a lot of random quests to find objects for people and have no idea where to look, it also dosen't really say who to give it to. I guess I'm just expected to come across these items "someday" and then randomly bump into this person and give it to them? Another situation is with that Turian dude who wants weapons saying he can't wait around forever making me feel I need to hurry and complete it. The thing is the guy selling the weapons only accepts rare artifacts which i do not have. So I guess this requires me to travel the galaxy to find some of these things to complete that quest. Too bad there isn't a dialog option to ask that Turian if he can maybe sit on his hands for a few weeks until I get around to getting those weapons for him, because he wont be seeing them anytime soon...
So yeah, anyone else feel the same way? or am I missing something? I don't really like not having a clear direction on some of these things because by the time I get around to doing them I might forget what the quest was all about making the whole thing pointless.
