Hi! Haven't found anything yet about this bug while searching:

From time to time a large part of my inventory just disappears, I usually realize it when I want to use a potion or poison. It's not items of a certain group, like DLC or from a certain type.

Places it happened:

After Wardens Keep
During (first?) fight with a well-known butt-ugly female monster in the Deep Roads
there were more I can't remember exactly

Details:

Win Vista, patch 1.01a, run as Administrator, both DLCs
And yes, admittedly, I use mods. but none that are known to unstable. At the time this first started I had only the Leliana face mod and respec 1.4 or 1.5


Any help would be greatly appreciated, since I often don't realize it for some time and have to go back for 1-2h of gameplay!

Just loaded my save, just in front of big scaly creature guarding the urn of sacred ashes, and all my grey warden armor (from warden's keep) was missing. I run the game on Vista with both DLCs but no mods installed.

I've seen many threads about that, keep searching. In my case it's random loot (potions, common weapons,...) but nothing my Chars have actually on them!

´Disable and re-enabling the dlc did the trick, quite weird though

Bump again - sorry for doing this, but it just got really annoying after some time and I can't find a word on this issue...

If your wardens armor dissapeared, it's not coming back, its not a bug, its a feature!

Thanks for the helpful comment, but it's still there, just a ton of other stuff disappeared.



I played the scene again, this time everything seems ok, but I destroyed some items out of my almost full inventory before. Maybe it's caused by too many items? by receiving something during a cutscene/special event when inventory is already full? but it worked nicely in other moments, I already had 111/110 items for example...

this happened 2 times to me in one play.
the first after i killed the dalish camp with the werewolves. lost about half my inventory and most of my gold.
the second time while killing the mercenaries for the crows. lost about 3/4 of my inventory (dropped to 28/100 from 80+ something) and all of my gold, which was particularly painful because i was already advanced in game.
none of the times i had an overstock (like in more items than i can officially have because of quest rewards) so that's not the cause and i use no mods whatsoever. i do have the stone prisoner dlc, the armor (which also disappeared) and some promo knive dlc (which i had not downloaded yet at the time)

windows xp sp3, patch 1.01b.
