I was wandering if someone can do a mod that let you move the camera in a totally free way.
Altought now there are lot of possible movments, i notice that these movements are all relative to the player you selected (except the full zoom-out view), and to fixed axis.
I'm talking of in-game camera movements (because in cutscenes the camera is totally scripred, i guess), to have more zoom levels and total free positioning of the camera.
Bye.
Full Free camera movement mod. Is it possible?

For sure very helpful for filmmaking as well. That way one can script and use AI in scenes, which is not possible when creatinf cutscenes from the toolset.

One of the problems might be that if a module is not made with this in mind then it might allow you to see parts of the level that are not meant to be seen - ie not completely finished areas near the border of the map - or you might even see the borders themselves and the 2d vista objects beyond. This would definitely break immersion.
But I think if a module was made with increased camera height in mind then it would be a good thing.
It would also have performance implications of course.

I've been wanting this since I first fired up DA:O. Gets annoying when enemies can shoot you with staffs/bows from beyond the borders of your zoom level (tactical camera).
Dunno much about how the camera files work, but if there's a value for the level of zoom and camera distance from the character you're controlling, you could just increase them.

I support that, actual in game camera are pretty unsuccessful.
