Let people who install the game on the HDD use disc one as authentication on boot up and play the game off the HDD.
Didn't Battlefield 3 do this?

Agreed, Forza does this already

comes with 2 Discs and you only need to install one Disc
and have the second Disc in to play the game

I was getting a little annoyed with the swapping at first... then I considered that if this is the biggest thing I have to be upset about today, my life is pretty damned good.

I'm off to skip thru a meadow of flowers or something, now.

I think it's a pretty excellent point... if you don't want to put up with the BS of disc swapping... better invest in a PS3 or PC.

It's what he does. I've seen it a bunch over the last couple of weeks.

If there is a topic about consoles, he comes in and pisses on the floor.

When I play a game, I intall first, even though I have only about 8 GB to work with. When a disk change happens, I quit to the menu, uninstall disk 1, then install disk 2. So to use ME2 as an example, I install disk 1, then after Horizon, I would go to the 360's menu and delete disk 1 data and install disk 2 data, then at the end, I would uninstall disk 2 and reinstall disk 1.

Now in ME3, I can't really do that. So I'm stuck either installing a disk every 20 minutes, or having my 360 wear out much faster by playing the game off the disk. Both options are horrible.

Its not that annoying...Unless you have the CE and its really hard to get the disks out.

by the way, solution for that: Take nail clippers to the middle cd buttons and you wont be fighting for your discs anymore.

i dont think it would be nescesary to install both of the disk to do what we trying to achieve here.
isnt it possible to lets say install disk which is the one that contains most of the side quest stuff and play with the disk 1 ? i dont care about loading times really i just want to play the game without having to swap disk alot of times i dont mind 3 times but 5+ its quite annoying. again we giving constructive criticism not bashing or hating.

it's nice how people miss the point.

The point isn't about disc swapping in general, but rather the EXCESSIVE amount of disc swapping in ME3.

Let's pretend this is an episode of sesame street and todays word is EXCESSIVE. Can you say EXCESSIVE?  Probably not

BTW I have played ME3 for 15 hours and swapped no less than 5 times, and I doubt that i've seen the end of the disc swapping.

I literally takes 5 seconds to swap out disks.  This was the same for ME2.

If people are going to rant, rant about something that is actually worth ranting about...
