Well, just finished my first run in ME3... And as with every ME game I screwed myself and just got 2944 EMS.
Yes, that means that Anderson died in the citadel and I got the green ending... Reading the ending descriptions, I think it's actually the best, but whatever..... In the final run I just jumped into the beam and then the green power got launched.
After the credits I continued my game, but.... That means I survived the mission? Or this is a stage pre-earth and I actually died?
And how the hell I get the stupid "perfect" ending? I just followed the paragon way and I was kicked on my ass.
I am alive?

It's pre-earth and to get the "perfect" ending, you have to have 5000+ war resources, 100% war readiness (not sure about that but i did) and pick the Red choice.

Like the above poster said, you need to have 5k EMS and not pick the green ending to be alive. Though, I would interpret the green ending to be that Shepard is now all things so he is technically alive, but there is no real proof to that.

But I don't get the option to choose... the synthesis ocurred and was not my choice... Yes, I am NOT playing action mode, I have my setting on Full Decisions and even then I can't make the final choice.
So, in the after battle, when you're actually before-battle... you can halt a little bit, do a lot of MP and then return to earth to try to get the red ending?
Also, how much I need to play MP to get the 5000 EMS?
