Anyone know how this happened? His name is on the memorial wall, but he was alive in my import. Does Thane even make it into ME3? I had no other import problems. Everyone else appeared like they supposedly should. Of course, how would I know, being only on my first run through and not having the guide... so. Dead Thane while he was alive. Anyone have a fix or any info?

Poor Thane. His sickness got him between ME2 and ME3. 
Naw, I'm joking. I got an email from him fairly early on telling me to meet him in the hospital on the Citadel. He should be there somewhere. He tells you in the email that he's going by an assumed identity, Thanner somethingorother I think. I've heard that there's an event on the Citadel that makes people that are there disappear and when it's over they don't reappear, so maybe that happened.

You're right, actually. Just checked. I got that email, but I think the special event auto-triggered before I could speak to him.
That seems like a bit of a downer. Well, I guess he dies in the coup no matter what, huh?
