In my start guide it says that Anderson can be "saved" but i haven't gotten it yet and it doesn't explain it. So now by reading your posts im guessing that its some sort of mistake.
It also say that keeping him alive is a condition for shep survival, soi there must be a way

You don't actually save him, you just prevent TIM from killing him outright, which allows for extra dialog between Shep and Anderson.
Hmm, but the guide say that shep can live if you save anderson, so i supose he did survive :/

That was my ending. His survival is seeing a chest with N7 tags, a bloody mess and then a quick "gasp" as if waking up then darkness. It was ridiculous.

Wait, what? This really happened? O_o
Not doubting you - just didn't know it was possible.

ok, a little off topic but goes with OP..... Even though I haven't experienced it yet for myself, how does Shepard "live" when it looks like to me, that he was engulfed in flames when the thing exploded in his face. How do they say Shepard survives after getting the 5000 EMS or whatever? Is it implied or something.
One of the devs (Brenon Holmes) said this was an extra scene that implies that shep survived. He said it was like those movies where there is a hint of a sequel at the end (he clarified there was no plans for sequel tho, it was just something for us to headcanon shepp survival).
So they dont really explain how he survives but the dev said he did
Its a scene where sheps body is on a bunch of rubble, he takes a breath and the screen fades to black, Its an obvious hint that he survived. (you only get that on the red-destroy ending btw)

Yes, it actually made me even more angry. I'd have been cool with it if my LI had found me and picked me out of the rubble since I seemed to have chosen the one LI where you do not get a sex/culmination of the romance scene. It's short and worthless IMO.
Then you get space gilligans island thrown into it and it's even dumber.

Exactly. I would've been okay with that. Its all bull.
And yes, apparently if Anderson lives, he can help Shep. But I think Shep can still live even if Anderson dies. If anyone knows, please post here!

You dont see a bloody mess or anything, just a body that looks like sheppard under the rubble, it takes a breath and the scene cuts
Ok i just found a paragon/renegade dialogue choice with the illusive man before the fight with kai leng, it didnt lead to anywhere but i believe it helps with the final scene

Somebody said that the option on Mars opens up the option for the end game scene to keep Anderson from getting killed... though he still seems to die later while sitting with you.
Cheers. McBeath.

So kinda implies there is more stories which means he must have survived somehow.

To answer you have to persuade the Illusive Man each time you can(so says my guide). That means you have to on Mars, and then every other time you see him.

Same way Shepard was rebuilt when he was, as Jacob put it, nothing but meat and tubes in ME2. I'm sure they could come up with some kind of "miracle" event. I mean, this game features bioics and shields - whose to say the suit didn't suddenly reactivate to give one last burst of shield that protected him from the blast? That would be an interesting twist and a welcomed one.

Hmm, no I don't think that's it. I've seen playthroughs of people with huge sums of Para/Ren and those options couldn't be picked. I think it's a matter of relying on overall Rep and your Rating Readiness which opens the options. Because I skipped an alignment option for the Illusive Man towards the ending of Mars' conversation.
What I got once I did some MP was getting the Illusive Man, in Saren fashion, to shoot himself.
