 Trying to get my perfect playthrough, I already told her I am still interested after she asked (would have thought she knew after LOTSB)





what are the other key points of the romance so I do not miss them?

i dunno i screwed up. apparently bioware doesn't believe in casual sex so if you sleep anybody ALL the work you put into romancing liara goes up in smoke. (This is just speculation, based on what happened after to much flirting with traynor.)


's'okay...gonna get it right in my next playthrough.


Then again, in retrospect....and maybe this is just me rationalizing.

but i wasn't all that upset...Liara changed through the three games and she wasn't the same person she was in ME1.

to focused on work, not enough on life....the romance with Traynor felt good... I just wish there was an opportunity to drama lama the place up about it. "Liara stop ignoring me, i love you, blah blah blah, i need sex, i'm only human, cuddles kisses = save the universe etc"

I think it's bugged. We went from making out on the Normandy and having romance conversation to "I want to be more than friends" later on on the citadel. Is it possible to start a Romance with her in 3 if you didn't in 1? That would explain the change throughout the story, and would mean it is a bug.

The Liara romance is bugged. She acts as if the LotSB reunion never happened. A writer even admitted the bug in the Liara character thread.

So that loyal romance you worked so hard on is broken. But at least we all get fugly imported Shepards and an unavoidably grimdark ending.

I made a thread in the tech support forum. Not that it will change anything.

@ Ratzerman I doubt they won't work this into a patch or something. It's not going to happen over night. Like DA2, certain things are going to have to be patched in order for the import to read them correctly. There is just too many variable for the game to read, apparently.

I quoted the writer in the bug thread. If you want to see the OP, it's on page 662 or 663 of the Liara thread in the character forum.

@Crimson - I don't know. I checked back with her on the normandy and citadel after every mission. There are different dialogues that happen on each. Plus, read your emails. Sometimes she will send you emails letting you know she wants to talk.

Yeah this was some sort of confusing... In some parts she had memories of our romance, but no memories of our interpretation of Vaenia in ME2.

But the important thing is.... She will ask you to talk to her on the citadel after the Kai Leng's attack.. there's where you need to tell her to be more than friends and hitch her.... Also, don't be stupid and don't say yes to your VS (they will ask the same question at this point of the story)
