I don't understand why they wouldn't pick something like this. There are far better fan rendisions of her face out there and I'm sure none of them would have minded if their picture was used.

Nothing wrong with the pic.. she looks hot but only showing that was kinda cheap and lazy. Was it so hard to actually make an model of that pic and show it in the romance scene or when Tali takes off her mask in her homeplanet?

 This should be the definition of embarassment and laziness. I honestly cannot believe how little Bioware cares about its fans in this regard. Absolutely pathetic. Shouldn't have even put in a face if they couldn't even be bothered to put in as much effort as some of the fan art specuations we had seen about her face.

Instead, they use a stock photo and apparently hope we wouldn't figure it out.

I think it was pretty good happy medium ground keeping both sides happy.

Some people wanted see her face

Others did not.

So they went with a picture it was best thing to keep both sides happy if she was in game with her mask off people would been even more pissed who wanted it to be up to us what she looked like and people who wanted see her would been pissed if we did not see her face in game. So the picture is half way between fully seeing and not seeing her for both sides of the argument.

It's still complete bull****, the Talimancers, that didn't want to see her face, they could have done something like this...

"Do you want me to take off my mask?" says Tali.
"Of course or No way" Choice Options for Shepard.

It's pretty simple. They was just being lazy bastards.

True enough. To all of you guys. My one thing that kept me going with the Tali romances was the fact that her face "might" be revealed in the third game but that...That is messed up. I personally like the fan made stuff a lot better. The purple or grey skin and what not gave her a more exotic feel. Not to mention the fan made stuff was better proportion wise as well.

I am not sure why people are mad that she is beautiful, it was almost a given she would be attractive; pretty much every LI is.

I think people are more upset that she's..... human and that they didn't put any effort into their race.

Pretty much my thoughts. I don't really care that they used a stock image, but they could have at least gone to greater lengths to make her look nonhuman. Even I could have pulled that shop off, and I'm not that great with Photoshop. They should have at least done something with the hair as well. I never pictured Quarians to have so much of it.

Agreed. The only reason I even bothered to romance Tali was to get a glimpse of her face. I wouldn't have bothered otherwise and stuck it out with Liara, or even Jack.

I find it suitable and if you look closely the photo has three fingers.

Sure it is a shop, but I always expected Quarians to be similar to humans in appearance. Not sure why really just a hunch.

They should make a dlc scene like this:
Shepards holding the picture of Tali, looking at it with a look of confusion. The door opens, and Tali walks in the cabin.
"Hey Shepard."
"Hey Tali. I was wondering...what is this a picture of?"
"Oh that? I thought you would have figured it out by now...that picture is bio-metrically locked, only activates to your touch."
She shows Shepard the DNA pad on the back, which changes the picture to Tali's true face she took sometime in the Cabin.
"That first picture was just an assumption of what we truly looked like that I pulled off the extranet."
"I thought so...just looked like a human that was altered."

The whole romance thing in ME3 is a major major disappointment, I mean my LI in 1 was Liara and in 2 Tali and before I even got to Palaven I got Liara breathing down my neck if I wanted her or not. C'mon girl I'm not even sure I'll see Tali again !! Then I get the whole romance going on with Tali and the sex scene is just absurd !!! Totally depressing, she even says she doesn't get sick as much, that she got used to me, then why in all the hells can't I see her face !!!!
Lazy lazy design by Bioware, the whole Quarian race is poorly written in ME3, in Legion's mission where you enter the collective minds the whole reasoning for seeing the quarians in suits is just bull*** !! Oh because you render them as you know them !! Ok then why did all protheans not look like humans when I touched a beacon ?? C'mon Bioware at least make the effort to render them as aliens but not show their faces, even that would be cool.
There is just no excuse for not seeing Tali's face or at least give the OPTION of seeing it in the romance scene, I mean this is a Bioware game isn't it ? Ah the good old days of KotR when Bioware had awesome from start to finish !!
And don't even get me started on the whole final mission being worse than the rest of the missions in ME2 and ME3 combined because that is for another topic.

I don't think of it as terrible, a bit lazy sure. But I'm not disapointed.
To bad my game really could have turned into quite a bad ending (for me), as I though I could bring peace to the Quarian´s and Geth and suddenly ending up with a dead Legion and a dead Tali.. ****.. well lucky I still could redo the mission but seeing Tali die while having her as a romance is well... ****.
Could not have expected less from my first ME3 game.. everyone just has to die T_T
