The picture is not fine at all... It's set on some random planet with grass, with the sun shining bright...
TALI WAS BORN ON THE FLOTILLA... Idiots.

It's got nothing to do with her being attractive, in fact, I actually find the model, boring and dull, and not very attractive.

Or it could have been taken on Rannoch, you know after you win it back for her...

I remember there was some art someone made of their vision of an unmasked Tali that got some popularity, even Bioware liked it. I find it funny that they couldn't just roll with that for a concept for her face instead of having to use Google Images.
Because someone owns that image, stock photos are free reign once you pay the money to use them.

Tali fans have been waiting how long to see/hear something about the Quarian face and they get a stock photo/photoshop out of all things...
I am a fan and I find the photo to be lovely.
Generalizations are not facts.

No romance, but there is a scene on Rannoch, where Tali takes off her mask right next to Shepard and you still don't get to see her face. It just fades to black.
Yeah but that is the perfect place to show her face imo, it would have made more sense than just a picture they photoshopped.

Pretty much this. Seeing her face...I just stared at the picture for the longest time. Beautiful... Even after finding out about the photoshop thing, I still don't care where it came from. I never went for the romance just to see her face(admittedly I was curious). But her looks never mattered to me, it was her personality and the way she carried herself that drew me to her.

Because ALL of the female cast needs to be sexy, or else it's not believable.

Rannoch doesn't have grass.

It's very clear, you don't have a real girlfriend.
I romanced Tali purely for the face options, although she is the more interesting of the bunch. Still, otherwise I have no LI.

Meh. It's just my outlook on life and my opinion on the matter of Tali's face; looks never really mattered to me(although don't get me wrong, looks are a nice bonus

It's refreshing to see that I'm not the only one who feels indifferent to this "disappointment." I'm pleased with Tali's canon face, and hopefully we'll be seeing more fanart that incorporates her new look.

I think if Casey messaged one of the artists on DA and expressed interest in using his/her work in the actual game. They would be to busy squeeing in delight to ask or care about profiting from it. Hell, as an artist you should be elated because this is free publicity for you. Millions now know who you are.
BioWare was simply lazy. It would have been better to not reveal Tali at all than use a poorly done photoshop stock image.

Perhaps but usually you just hire the person or hire them freelance.
Again I liked the photo it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Revealing Tali's face was always going to be contentious no matter how they did it.

Don't get me wrong my intention wasn't to be read.
Infact, I don't remember writing this but, owe well.
Tali's face is appealling wither it's "beautiful" or not, in my opinion I find attractive women shallow especially models, my girlfriend is perfect a great personaility and MODERATE look, she isn't fake, she's normal beautiful.
Just out of all the concept art, all of the comments, the majority was against it being a "space human" and that's what it turned out to be... I wouldn't have given a crap about this picture, if they actually showed a 3D model of her face, they had the perfect setting for it on Rannoch. It's just lazy. Even my girlfriend agrees and she doesn't even play. Exact words "It's just lazy, a massive let down, it's like they didn't give a **** basically."
@BlahBlah, the person with the Quarian picture.
Farmland doesn't mean grass, if anything it just means more dirt and rocks.
The plants on Rannoch aren't green vegitation like we have. The sun is too hot, and this causes a "Brown" effect on the plants, some plants are green.
Aired planet = Dry Planet. To have grass they has to be moister.
Also she wasn't wearing a suit, even if she is on Rannoch, she'd have died... Full on dead... No chance of her living... She'd just be dead, coming out of her suit long enough for a picture? Hmm yeah. Don't think so.
60 Years it would take to adapt to the Enviorment and only the youngest of quarians would benefit from this in their life time.
