The face reveal took the ******.
And the love scene for Tali in comparison to the other ME3 romances (other than Garrus's. Which is equally as bad.) is short and boring.

Compared to Ash and Liara, yeah its a bit dull. There is a limited about you can do without showing her face though.

I found the picture very meh. And seeing what a poor photoshop job it was, I think I would have prefered never seeing it ingame.

I am actually growing fond of the "Official" Tali Unmasked photo. Is that a weird thing?

I like the picture too. Its how I expected Tali to look. Well except for hair. I just really wanted to see that face on an actual 3D model in a full conversation. I always imagined Tali having adorable facial expressions. :)

Quarians are generally shorter and of slighter build than humans. Quarians have an endoskeleton, lips, teeth, and two eyes with eyelids and tear ducts; they also have three thick fingers on both hands which include a thumb, an index finger, and a long fingers, similar to the middle fingers for humans, as well as three toes on each foot. Quarian facial structure and hair actually makes them the most similar to humans in physical appearance. They have pale skins with visible cybernetic augmentations on their bodies in the form of metal lines, and their eyes have white irides, no pupils and red sclera. Their lower legs are bowed backwards significantly, compared to asari or humans. Aside from hands and legs, their general body shape and sexual dimorphism is similar to humans. Their ears or ear analogues differ in a noticeable fashion from those of humans, with references made to "what [passes] for the quarian version of an ear".

This excerpt is from the Mass Effect Wiki, and from what I've seen Tali's photo fits it. So whether you like it or not, she is how Quarians look like.

I'm pretty sure the wiki was just edited to fit with the picture. This was just so lazy and half-assed on BW's part that it's mind boggling. It's not really a big deal, but it is indicative of what seems to be a growing trend with this company.

I have no problem with this. Many characters in ME have been modeled after real people (i.e. Default Male Shep, Joker, Liara, Miranda and Samara) and I would have no problem with them doing that again. Also, this isn't just some random stock photo. The woman in the photo is that of a British model and 2005 Miss England winner Hammasa Kohistani, so I'm quite sure BioWare were looking for someone specific when they were creating the picture.

Other than the edit of the hands, I think everything else looks fantastic. I also have no quarrels with her looking human, especially since in the Mass Effect: Ascension novel (written by Drew Karpyshyn) Quarians are described as being the closest species to resemble humans except for their hands, feet, ears and legs. This includes them having hair, which I'm extremely glad for because so far Humans seem to be the only species to apparently have evolved hair.

KaidanK irritates me too much to bother debating so I'm just going to leave it at that. If the reason in LDS Darth Revan and my posts isn't seen, I'm just going to let people whine about something that doesn't matter.

Course it doesn't matter it's just lazy.

I have a point and this is why you concluded it.

No, the wiki has had that entry for a very long time and is based on the description of the quarians present in the novel Ascension.

The wiki has said that since Drew Karpshyn's Ascension novel where it describes the Quarian people. I'm okay with Quarians having a mostly human face, because their legs/hands/eyes/ears/dextro-amino proteiness makes them very different already.

Still wish it was in-game reveal though >.> damn pictures
