i've been playing ME3 since it came out tuesday just fine go to play today and played fine for about 20 mins than i froze on load screen upon turning off Xbox and starting again the game freezes up and goes to a black screen at the start screen.

i've traced it to my gamertag if sign out game works fine except u cant axcess your saves or anything....
go to log into gamertag INSTANT FREEZE!

this is game breaking and needs fix asap bio!

This is the only game that blackscreens at start every other game i own works fine

i recovered gamertag still blackscreen

deleting everything ME3 on hdd didn't work

clear cache didn't work

so now i have a 60 dollar paperwieght i cannot use!

Contacted EA on the matter after reliezing I have done every fix they could come up with they finally pretty much told me to well wait for a patch hopefully!!!!!

This is unacceptable I demand to be made whole in this EA

Well I think I figured out how to fix this issue.

Delete your xbox Gamertag you are using.

Reboot your xbox

Redownload your Gamertag from XBL.  
*Added step may or may not matter, I put my gamertag on a usb key instead of the HD.

To delete gamertag : 
Log out
Hit center button, login profile, scroll to the bottom and the last option is recover gamertag. 

*I'm kinda surprised and slightly annoyed that I can't copy my save file to another device, for added save protection.  I'm playing with the same character since ME1.* - So be careful with your data and files...

I have tried everything possible to fix this and nothing.
Leads to me think something with EA's anti piracy BS coding is effecting the game,reason i think this is if log out of gamertag game works fine log back into gamertag instant freeze.

EA/Bioware have no clue whats going on and told me to hope they patch it......

so in other words we are stuck with a 60$ paperweight with no promise of the game ever being fixed for us no refund no nothing just a big middle finger to a small group of people this is happening to. Mods wont even respond to this problem but heavens forbid people cant import their ME2 face into the game people can atleast play forget the ones that cant even load the game up

i have not been able to play ME3 since Wednesday do to the Black Screen returned game for a new ME3 and still black screen so im either stuck with a 60$ disc that wont work or i can trade it in as used and get less than 40$ for it.

this is not acceptable and i think Bioware needs to give a full refund for this error or compensate those of us that are experiancing this GAMEBREAKING bug!

Wow, I cringe at the prospect of running into this. Why is this game so broken? un'Importable characters and choice paths, bugged quests, multiplayer stat resets and freezing game? WTF???

Solidfisher, at this point I am almost positive that EA/Bioware did something to, or flagged our accounts somehow and that is why the game is freezing. I say this because the game will load just fine if someone other than me is signed into my Xbox, I even tried this out on other Xbox's. It still freezes when I am logged in, no matter the Xbox. The discs are fine, my Xbox works just fine, its not the cache, its not the time/date, its not the resolution, its not the output format, and its not the ME3 data that is on the Xbox. It freezes whether the game is installed or not, whether any DLC is present, and whether or not there are any saved games present. This leaves very little else, and it's also why I say that they flagged our accounts for some reason.

This needs a fix, or at least a response from Bioware that they are working on it.

Just to state it again, the game is freezing before the "Press Start" screen, only have gotten to see the Bioware logo. It doesn't even play for 10 seconds before it freezes. Very rarely will it actually go to the "Press Start" screen, but if it does, it just freezes again when the debris starts falling (which is immediately).

I actually put the game down during the endgame after an auto-save since I had to get up super-early this morning and decided heck, I'll finish the game the next day.

And as soon as I turn on my system and hit Play Game, I run into this bug.

I am heartbroken. And slightly hungry, and could use a sandwich.

Just adding to the list of this game tag bug so that bioware knows people are having problems. Was going to play all night, but I guess I get to study for my midterm now...............

Edit- By the way, I have not touched one aspect of multiplayer yet. The only time I have connected to the internet was the 6th to get the dlc character and see if there where any day one updates.
