I get that bit, but forcing the Geth to be individuals just sends an awful message. It implies that the Geth need to be more like everyone else. They have to learn the merits of being an individual and should be more like organics, instead of us overcoming how different we are and being comrades regardless.

And I despise how Legion was made to be the avatar of this mindset, destroying his character as we knew it.

Legion's 180 earned it a face full of lead from me.

So I've heard. I haven't gotten to see it for myself, though; I haven't played ME2 since pre-ME3, and back then I always made sure I had a perfect 12/12 squadmate survival rate because I thought that might actually matter.

The lack of crew interaction makes Ash's drunk scene really bad in context, since she comes off as just the lonely one with no friends chugging a bottle by herself in the observation deck, instead of some endearing playful scene that it was probably intended as.

. Well she is kind of an outsider on the Normandy.  At least that's how it came off to me.  Kaidan seems to be more impressed in the crew.  Ashley is just there.

Actually I thought it was weird Chakwas
went to Cerberus. I know all Shepard and that. It doesn´t seem like her
character to leave Alliance and join terrorist organization. Shepard or
not. .

They actually explain this in detail in both 2 and 3.
She never left the Alliance. She took time off.  And she only went to Cerberus for Joker. She was concerned about his health and lack of willingess to look after himself.

Then in 3 she talks about how proud she was of using them.

That's the lamest, most contrived explanation they could have possibly come up with.

You do realize that Legion wants the Geth to become individuals because if they don't, the Quarians will kill them.

Right?

You do realize that no one forced the writers to create a situation that required the geth to become individuals, right?

I believe there's a tool that lets you edit XBox saves if you'd rather do it that way.

Ashley was a pretty bad character to begin with, it's not surprising they tried to distance themselves from here.

Besides she has some funny lines now, even if Citadel ****S her over

Ashley was a bad character because Bioware made her that way.  She put humans first, can't really blame her, but she did change over time.

I also saw her as the only LI that really stood up to Shep, and the only one that could fully relate to shep being a career military man since she's career military herself.

I would have prefered they not turn Ash into an alcoholic in ME3 and instead worked on having her interact with the crew, and maybe a couple more scenes with Shep since she's basically gone from the first 2/3 of the game after being gone for practically all of ME2.

Yeah...that on-the-floor-drunk scene was so far out of character in my opinion. I hate it.

Then on top of that...if you don't romance her...she is a drunk sl*t during the Citadel DLC.

Well, apparantly it was vitally important that she gain more "sex appeal" and that appears to involve putting her in ridiculous outfits, obscuring her left eye with her hair (even during combat), and getting her drunk  whenever possible...

Nope, PC or 360. Just not PS3.

Easy to get a hold of, easy to use. Easy. :)

Edit: If you're using it with 360 then you'd also need something like Horizon or Modio to extract your saves to the desktop.

Jacob was a massive **** in ME3 but at least now in the Citadel DLC you get the opportunity to *****slap him.

Personally I don't see why Shepard doesn't have the option of just staying with Jacob and Cole and help raise the child in a polygamous marriage. At least it would make the a romance angle different to anything else in the series.

lol I would love to see that.

My biggest problem with it is it seems so out of character for him. I could see moving on, but forreals the way he acts is horrible. They could've wrote it better even without changing the story much.

Again I think that's where they could've done better storyteliing. I mean she's been through a lot I can see an alcoholic  rising out of that, but the way they did it was poor.

Exactly.  I was very disappointed in what Bioware did with Ash in ME3.  She was very much an outside in ME3, always stuck in her room.  Maybe that's because she doesn't really relate to anyone except James since James is military too.  Could have had scenes of her going down to talk to James, or going to the kitchen, or to see Shep.

Apparently Ash thought of Tali as her little sister too, so could have seen more scenes of Ash going to talk with Tali.

A bunch of missed opportunities, and Bioware was lazy and just thought they'd turn her into a lonely drunk.

Agreed, while I don't mind Ash letting her hair down and her sex appeal, it seems Bioware cared more about her looks than actually working on her lines.

I doubt Tali actually drinks very often so when she does she can't hold her liquor. She's also a quarian and their physiology may handle liquor differently than other races. Tali's drunk scenes also have a different context because we see her interact with the crew (Adams, Ken, Gabby, EDI, and especially Garrus) more than Ashley does. All we see Ashley do is get drunk, so drunk she can't even get off the floor.

In the game...Tali gets "funny/cute" drunk by herself while toasting Miranda's death.

In the game...Ashley gets passed out on the floor drunk drunk by herself.

Not the same thing.

In the Citadel DLC...not sure what Tali does...but Ashley becomes a drunk sl*t. I'm pretty sure Tali doesn't do anything like that in the DLC.

Not the same thing.

In the quiet party Tali gets "funny drunk" in a guest room babbling stuff about getting a holographic "omnitatoo" and such

In the loud party she starts imitating  engine sounds  of the SR-1 and SR2 and comparing them.  And later starts reciting the periodic table with Traynor while dancing.

Actually, in the quiet party at least, Ash is more laid back than Tali.  At least, if you're romancing her she is.
