I just want all the details as it does not work for me and i'm gonna tell you all the things i have done, have NOT done and are GOING TO.

So far i've only got the saved files from ME2 (and ME1 for what ever reason) and it shows nothing. Fair enough i installed ME2 put in the save folders and still now shows up on ME3. Ok i was like hm maybe i need to beat the game again on my save? Wait.. I can't load it as all the DLC is not installed, not sure if the game is even patched. SHould that matter? (ME2 dlc and patches)

More over, in the config tool for ME2 there is a "Save game" area where you can copy over the ME1 saves so you can use them in ME2 (i just assume it works that way)  ME3 config tool is the same but WITHOUT that "Save games" tab. IS that cause it can't find it and it will appear when i got everything to work? 

Right now i will try install all the patches and DLC for ME2 see if i can fling the save over to ME3, if not i will play the save, beat the last stuff once more and hope for the best.


So what am i doing wrong/ what can i do to fix all this?
