First off...

 This is -not- about the day one DLC junk. I fully approve of that whole thing. Not because of content vs entitlement, but because of economic reasonability. 


Now on to the main event.

What if bioware did this on purpose to meet EA's expectations in the bottom line? I know it's maybe a little paranoid on my part, which is why this isn't a call to arms from my fellow mass effect fans, but a question against my own soundness of mind.

Even with the three month delay(any body remembering them saying ME3 would be in december before christmass?) the game still feels sorta...i don't know...incomplete...there are some noticable bugs and the backdrops aren't polished...did EA threaten to fire somebody some where, and ultimately cause a chain reaction that wound up in our laps as the worst ending of all time to one of the best gaming series of all time?

Could they have released these bad endings with intent to DLC the good ones later?

Could they even get away with something like that legally?



Lastly...I am not as upset about these endings as some fans seem to be...I can accept them...i'm also going to replay the game through a few times to try and get a better grip on it all and to get the ending I want(based on those purportedly available)....But with what i'm reading...it still wont be the ending I hoped for, still, okay with that...can't always get what you want...no problem there. The game in general was amazing...i have never cried this hard, this many times, or cheered this much to any video game ever. I have never EVER been emotionally moved by a game this much and THAT deserves respect....so please, please, do not look at this like it is some kind of rabbid foaming at the mouth stab in the dark....I've given it thought....

The only "paranoid" question I'd have is why Leviathan before Omega DLC? Omega seemed to be the big one everyone was waiting for. Leviathan was amusing, but what if it came out after Omega? Did Gamble not think people would want to buy Leviathan post-Omega? Or, is Leviathan in existence because companies have to strike while the iron is hot and get that money, especially because Leviathan is related to the ending (controversy)?
