I was a bit confused they had the Blue option as the control and the Red option destroy the Reapers(though it was actually destroy all synthetic life, that I understood).
But I just had Shepard expound about how control was too much power, it was the Illusive man's option. So how can it be any better for Shep.
I think that should have been the Red option with Shep thinking he could use the reapers to keep the entire galaxy in check with him in charge.
The Blue option should have just been vanilla kill all Reapers like we have been working to but leave Edi and the Geth alone.
Green option is kinda cool and interesting.
I was suprised. We got tons of exposition on controlling reapers is the renegade option and destroying the reapers only is the paragon. Its paragon so we can be in charge of our own destiny and try and make a better one with both synthetics and organics. That stuck me as 'huh??'
Shouldn't the Blue and Red options have been switched?

That's what I've been saying (not about blue/red, about how there needed to be a vanilla kill Reapers ending). Mass relays should have been unaffected too. It's almost amazing how little effort it would have taken to make a better ending.shnellegaming wrote...

It is kind of strange, but with destroy destroying synthetics too, I can't even approach seeing it as a blue.

If you'll recall, in ME2, destroying the Collector base (paragon) resulted in a red explosion, while sparing it (renegade) resulted in a blue explosion.
Sometimes they just switch up the colors.

I don't recall it being even slightly different in ME2. I came away thinking they only had the one cinematic, anyway. The color of the planet behind TIM was the correct red/blue.BlackDoomShadow wrote...

I'm not sure why everyone is so quick to assume the little boy is telling everyone the truth about any of the options. This a program? that has been killing organic life for a very long time and I don't know anything about it, I'm not just going to start trusting it.
