So, let me get this straight.

The ending of the game has dissatisfied some. And the balm to that dissatisfaction, shall be paid DLC? I can see that going down well.

Note : I haven't played the game, and I sure as hell don't know the ending just yet, I'm just putting my opinion out here. If this poll is still open when I finish the game I may vote. But I'm sure as hell not keen on paying to get an ending.

Sure, more endings means more variety.

It'd be nice to have some endings where Shepard and his/her LI can at least be together. Even if they're the only ones left alive.

I know but judging from the fan reactions and the current stats, it does seem that fans REALLY want that happy ending. =]

I'm pleased with the endings but many aren't. I want to make sure that we can have a balanced evidence and opinion to let the moderators and Bioware see.

I loved this game up until the ending...everything i wanted was there - the LI convos, the squad banter, everything. The endings have completely dissuaded me from playing through again any time soon. I want to build Tali a house on Rannoch damnit :crying:. I dont need a "Rainbows and Butterflies" ending, just something that actually gives CLOSURE to the stories of the characters i have grown attached to. I have never been as let down with an ending as i have been with this game. Please Bioware, fix this...i want to love this game and remember it fondly, but the current endings have left me with a very bad taste in my mouth.

It seems like a great deal actually didn't hate the endings so much as they want more clarifications to the ending.

Hopefully the writers or Priestly is seeing this right now. :)

Give me an ending where Shepard and his remaining squad are shown rebuilding the galaxy with what's left. Don't kill all the species off... maaaaybe, decimate them a bit, but make it so I have a little more hope and satisfaction in my heart.

P.S- Don't forget to include my L.I.

THANKS. Here's +$10

Exactly, basically an ending BASED off your CHOICES you made in the previous games. I don't care if Shepard dies, some species are killed off, LI is killed, Reapers win, happy ending, etc. etc. as long as it was caused because of my CHOICES I made.

Poorly written, taken from another game and no closure. Please fix this BW. I'd even pay if it's a worthy DLC add-on fixing the end.

No. We're done now, let's let Mass Effect sleep. That's my honest opinion.

Sadly, It would have to be a major DLC for it to get the bitter taste from my mouth.  But let me say firstly, that it is not the choice in the end that left that taste, it is the result.  I can see the sacrifice of myself as Shepard, if I could at least SEE the good that sacrifice made, Liara holding a baby daughter, earth rebuilt, something.

But the real, truely bitter taste comes from the fact that none of my choices in the previous two games really, in the end, matters a bit.  Bioware promised that all my choices would have an impact, but did they?  Not in the end. That, Bioware, is the bitter taste, that is the betrayal.

I avoided all spoilers until last night, when I finished the game, avoided the forums as best I could. But after that ending, I had to see,I had to look to see if there was at least a possible "Good" ending, maybe a bitter-sweet ending, but no, there is just three Bitter endings.  Not sense of completetion, no closure,  no sense that the hard work you put in really mattered in the end.

I have 9 playthroughs which I had intended to run, to see the different possiblilities.  Maybe one of them would give me the Hollywood ending, but there is no hollywood ending...

I almost cried many times in this game, when shepards loved ones sacrificed themselves, joy, sorrow, hope. The full gambit of one of the most emotionally charged, rollercoster of a game I have ever played in my life, and up until that last 5 minutes would have put it down as the greatest game I have ever played, Ever!  but the ending...

no...It actually make me feel physically Nausious thinking about it.

Without a new ending, in dlc form, I don't think I can even play my other 8 playthroughs.  Knowing that all that sacrifice, dead friends, the sacrifice was for nothing, that in the end it just comes down to three equally bitter multiple-choice endings.

Those ending are not bitter-sweet bioware.  They are just bitter.

You need to fix this Bioware, without a DLC offering other endings, no matter how hard they are to accomplish, this will feel like a betrayal.  I have looked back at every game you have made, and felt joy and pleasure having played them.  Virtually every Bioware game lists in my top list of favorite games of all time, until now.

Once again, Bioware, you must fix this.  Give us a DLC with more endings, something that lets us feel hope,

I would have voted Yes on the poll but the 'Yes' answers are too inflammatory for me to do so. The reason I say yes is because I am always up for more DLC for RPG and Adventure games. I could love every ending and I'd still say "yeah add some endings in there for DLC"

To me the more they can jam in after the game is out is a good thing. I don't always buy all of it, but the options to have it there is always welcome.

I just messaged to Priestly, concerning bits of the community's concerns. I will post any updates.

So how do we get noticed? When these numbers catch the eye of the mods. Keep it up guys! :)

Show apathy for the situation and it shows to Bioware that you didn't really care in the first place. I know some of you are tempted to do that but come on. ME3 is great game with a controversial ending. After all, I seriously doubt Casey Hudson was thinking to himself on how to best ruin the series. Look at the man. There's no way a man makes him that weary without at least caring for his fans. The Mass Effect team cares. We need to assure them that we appreciate their efforts while also calling them out on the big flaws we believe they have made.

Users begging for paid DLC endings... pathetic. You can't blame EA for shady DLC practices if you're begging for them yourselves.

I doubt a poll like this could be representative, and even less meaningful. At this point, anyone satisfied, or simply not wanting to rage about the endings wouldn't even open a thread that has "ending" in its title.

This is unfortunatly true.. most people who are happy or atleast content with something like this do not even bother visiting forums.... making it really difficult to gauge how negative feelings bout it are.

In this case though... unlike most similair things I have disliked... I can not see how anyone
(other then those who never played the first two games) could possibly be happy with how this ended.

Honestly I still love the games even though I didn't care much for the ending in this one. I mean yeah sure i'd like more of a choice in how things end, other than me dying and the whole galaxy getting screwed. But I mean if my character has to die so be it. But at least give me more than the normandy crashing on some random unknown planet an people stepping out. I'd like to know what happens to them. Did I knock Ashley up the last time we were together? Does the galaxy eventually recover from loosing the mass relays? What about the people on earth? Why in the world did joker jump the normandy out of the system? Did he forget his sun glasses some where? etc etc......

Don't get me wrong im not angry at BW I just wish they would have expanded on somethings. But this is my personal opinion

Just give me an epilogue. One where its like. Shepard lived and picked up her crew mates who were a few systems away. She and her team lead the rebuilding of the galaxy.

This. If I saw a few extra bits that clarified the aftermath, I would have been happy.  I don't need a disney ending.

I don't just want clarification, I DO want a happy ending. I'm not alone in this. The lack of choice in ME3 pisses me off coming from Bioware. I rarely want happy endings but this is the one time I feel my character deserve the sh*t out of one. I would pay for a good, long, happy ending. I would pay for an ending where the reapers completely obliterate everyone. I would pay for more endings, period. Three endings alone that all result in nearly the same thing is a huge issue.

What pisses me off about this idea though is that we shouldn't have to pay for a DLC for an acceptable ending. This is ludicrous. An ending like this should have been in the original game. Doesn't matter what bioware does now. They've already ruined the franchise regardless. A DLC won't change that.

I just cannot comprehend how they thought these endings were even remotely suitable. It's beyond words how utterly terrible the endings were. The sour taste they gave me will always remain and this franchise will never again be in my heart.

I'm done with Bioware.

@painaid don't give up on Bioware yet. We've suffered disappointment but they can make this right. If they do, then what's to worry? If they don't, well... then they're the ones to blame for ruining something we loved so much and we'll know better next time.

I want to trust Bioware still. I really do.

So long as "make core game suck then charge poor suckers more money to make it not suck" wasn't actually their horrible scheme all along, it may be the best and only option on the table right now.

Unless they made it free, but please, like that'll happen.
